Yeah I'm with The King and then some TSS with a ritualistic killing on the weekend . Everyone talks about Dylan Riley and rightfully so , however , Emry Pere at No 8 for TSS might be one of the most under rated guys in the GPS comp. I thought he was outstanding last Saturday.

Hey I got an idea ! Let's sling some more shit at posters that dare discuss Rugby at a certain age level just because we're grumpy and feel like cracking the sooks because things aren't that vibrant in discussion whereby we can't get through a page turn in 2 or 3 days with First XV only Rugby...

@ The King I was waiting for Alex Mafi's name to surface in Senior Ranks ( officially ) Helluva player and easily one of 5 I have seen playing GPS Rugby in the last 3 or 4 years to have genuine impact on the next level

Don't know that GT and BBC will be a 3rd placed game TSS will be in the mix . Good Team and capable of beating GT on the day

Does the margin spread count BAG because if so BBC claim that prize Not even the fabled BSHS 13's put 2 tries on IGS , and noting , that IGS put 20 points on BBC in the last 7 minutes of the game when BBC had been belted out of it with 5 starters "retired" I also refer you to BBC's result of...

@BAG I qualify my original comments from 2 months ago as follows : I really like Churchie's U13 pack..FWIW I would rate them as the best forward pack in the age group...........under an average pack weight of 90kg

It's clearly off the left shin on to the knee cap and then to the right foot in the toe ahead. That should have been a try

No Deal Yes, yes I did Given that every game BSHS and IGS plays will yield 80 to 100 point margins against every team in the age group .....calling a game off at 54-5 " because it was too one sided" seems odd I was seeking clarity from someone who may be in the know. You are a great man...

Recorded score was 54-5 You don't call a match 5m early if actual score is 54-5 I am not doubting you - I am suggesting that the actual score was likely much greater than an 8 tries to 1

Anyway .....without pigeon holing anything one way or the other ( see what I did there :) ) .....half season .......full season .......its just good for boys and families to have choices where everyone can do what they think works best for them

For what its worth across the U13 / U14 age groups this season ( from what I know of ) there have been around a dozen cases I know of that include : * Torn Ligaments * AC Joint Pops * Broken Bones ( Collar Bones, Wrists and Tibia ) * ACL's * Concussions All while playing 2 x games across...

That was the first trial at end of holidays when IGS basically trotted out their B team with a sprinkling ( and I mean a sprinkling ) of their A players I was at the game and it wasn't an indicator of anything Meant nothing They played a trial on last weekend of holidays and IGS and...

As it is kids play 3 trials and 14 rounds at Club and then 3 trials and 8 rounds at school And then at the top end of Club / School they might have a Carnival weekend where there is another half a dozen games thrown into the mix And then there is the Summer 7's thing that a lot of them do...

Anyone heard anything about half season options ( Season 1 / Season 2 ) being available next year down to U13 level and up ? Good thing if true IMO

First of all - kudos to the IGS 13A , B and C teams . They are exceptionally deep and figure to be " the mark" for the next 5 seasons at this age group in GPS Rugby. State High as well , however , I always said it was IGS's premiership to lose a month or so ago when everyone was going Gaga over...
