Absolutely! I suspect that makes perfect sense from a Kiwi perspective. 16 teams, everybody plays everybody else once for a 15 round competition. The Saffas might even go for something like that.

I agree. I've criticised TT as much as anyone but generally he seems on par with the other Australian Super Rugby coaches. I imagine he has put everything he has into the job as well. Last week I scored just under 700, even with that nonsense from Kepu (-15). This week I'll struggle to get to 300, unless Ardie Savea made 80 tackles, none missed. :(

That is pretty much the scenario that the Saffers flat out rejected in 2013 and the reason we have this basket case of a competition now. From their point of view, they already have the Currie Cup. An SA conference would just be more of the same.
