    Fiji into Super Rugby?

Japan, at the moment are struggling to field a single team. AFAIK, they only have one player signed for next year (Moli) and have verbal agreements with about 14 others. The players don't seem too keen on the ridiculous travel requirements, the clubs don't seem all that keen either.

Cam is listed as "released" on the Wiki page, if that's anything to go by. Poor decision IMHO. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_2016%E2%80%9317_Super_Rugby_transfers#Rebels

If JD is going to play flyhalf I think Hodge has to be fullback - unless either Fou or Maddocks step up big time. We have a bit of depth in the centres, not so much at 10 or 15.

Rebels best 15, as selected by Fox Sports "staff writers": BEST XV: Jack Maddocks, Marika Koroibete, Sefa Naivalu, Reece Hodge, Dom Shipperley, Jack Debreczeni, Nic Stirzaker, Amanaki Mafi, Sean McMahon, Jordy Reid, Lopeti Timani, Dominic Day, Tyrel Lomax, James Hanson, Toby Smith...

Someone (RebelYell, I think) mentioned quite a while back that Hagan might have been looking for an early release.

The Top League recruits might not be ready for round 1. Their season finishes at the end of January; I imagine they'll probably have a couple of weeks off and get here early-mid February.

I'm pretty sure Siliva is signed through to 2017.

Do you mean Jordan Uelese? His signing was announced quite a while ago.

From that article - I notice that Jamie Hagan's name is not in the squad list, both Metcher and Moloney are included.

Oh yeah. Apologies Waratah fans

    Wallaby Coaching Staff

If rugby had been a key issue for Federation perhaps we wouldn't have AFL and NRL all over our TVs and newspapers. And, there wouldn't be "too many Warratahs".

    Wallaby Coaching Staff

I wouldn't say I'm any kind of a fan of Larkham's (as a coach) but, click bait headline aside, he sounds quite reasonable in that article. He even admits he has a lot of improving to do in his current job as attack coach.

    Wallaby Coaching Staff

Rugby Heaven headline: "Stephen Larkham says he has aspirations to be Wallabies head coach one day" The quote from Larkham: "I think everyone wants to aspire to be the best in their position and the head coach of the Wallabies is certainly the top goal in Australia," Larkham said. "That's a...

    Rebels 2017

The elephant in the room, if LT plays in the second row, is the lineout. Assuming that Jeffries is one starter, we have four other locks on the books and the best jumper among them is probably Cummins. McMahon is good in the lineout and fine as a third option, but none of Jordy, Colby or LT...

I think TT definitely wanted to play JD at fullback this year with MikeyMike at 10. Obviously, Mikey kept getting himself injured but we did look good the few times that combination was tried. The flyhalf position has been a problem since Cipriani left (I know, different kind of problems...

Big call comparing him to M-S but he is certainly killing it ATM playing at full back. In terms of quality, I'd say the Top League is close enough to the NRC. JJ is standing out like Simone and Perese did here and a few are already talking them up as future Wallabies. This should probably be...
