Given a probable starting combination of JOC (James O'Connor), To'omua, Paisami and Wright can cover multiple positions, I think Petaia is an ideal 23. He provides cover across a couple of positions and also gives the x-factor off the bench.

I was impressed with our pigs. Many young but were very impressive against the benchmark pack of the last couple of years and will only improve. Gordon has been sorely missed and was immense. Our back 3 weren’t great wouldn’t mind having a crack at getting Wright back home.

For me it is Hodge as first man up. I think Wright would be great there, he played a lot of schoolboys there. Showed he is a smart player with a good boot last year, although as mentioned Banks has less flexibility, so at the Brumbies he is locked in at FB.
