Scotland vs Australia - Murrayfield, 8 Nov 1:15AM AEDT

Interesting the way everyone sees the game, I thought Perese and Wright were easily our most productive backline players. Stupid penalty by Wright no doubt and a poor decision by Perese in contact late in the game for the turnover. Other than that both were very good. Interesting that Rugby Pass...

Scotland vs Australia - Murrayfield, 8 Nov 1:15AM AEDT

Some poor decision making and execution particularly in the last quarter of the game. Needed cooler heads to prevail today.

    Wallabies 2021

I can't see Perese getting a game, except through injuries to others. The next test v Scotland is Nov 8 his last game, as with any others that have yet to feature against France or TRC was at best June 11 so essentially 5 months without playing would be a huge risk.

    Wallabies 2021

While it's a balancing act for the Japan Test, surely if DR has any intention of playing the likes of Perese, Daugunu etc on the Spring Tour then they have to get a run against Japan. By the time the Test against Scotland comes around it will have been 5 months since those not involved against...

Maddocks could be another Fullback option given he is now in France.

Wallabies v Argentina Sat 2 October CBus Stadium

Paul Cully seems to be referring to Petaia with his assessment and perhaps supports those suggesting leaving JP at home. "Frankly, there was a bit too much fluff in the first half, too many flash plays and needless offloads that threatened to undo the great platform given to them by the...

Wallabies v Argentina Sat 2 October CBus Stadium

Kellaway has played mainly as a wing/FB hybrid anyway, a majority of his tries have come through the midfield so I'm not sure playing him at FB would change his role too much. He played FB all the way through his juniors and his positioning and intelligence seems suited to the role a long with...

I think you have nailed it with the work in progress comment for both Petaia and Wright. It's well documented on how good Kellaway was a junior, I remember watching him dominate for Scots then NSW, Schoolboys and 20s. Although, it took him a number of years and a lot of life and club experiences...

    Wallabies 2021

Reports were that Rennie was looking to take Banks on tour, he will definitely miss the Japan test but by the time they play Scotland it will be over 7 weeks since the injury. Should that be the case I'd be inclined to leave Daugunu behind. He hasn't been part of the Rugby Championship squad...

Wallabies v France, Brisbane, Sat 17th July, 8pm

Im surprised Kellaway didn't get the start. While I was surprised by his initial selection he acquitted himself well in limited game time. Added also he would have provided a more balanced back three. There isn't much variety once he ball gets outside Paisami.

We need a fullback who can pass. Banks chiming in all the time and takes it into tackle every time even with an overlap

    2nd Test Wallabies v France 8pmTuesday 13th July,

Completely agree. The majority of league SOO players played the equivalent of 3 games in 11 days, some (Panthers) 3 games in 9 days. Im sure they will be fine. Rennie will be no doubt keen to win all 3 and develop a winning culture, if that requires the majority if not all the same players...

I wonder if the Kellaway promotion is signalling the end of Hodge’s wallaby tenure.

    2nd Test Wallabies v France 8pmTuesday 13th July,

I’m happy with Tate off the bench, when White returns for Bled/RC less disruption to drop Gordon for White and keep Tate in his role exploiting the tiring defence.
