I hope we're looking at getting Morahan back as well - apparently in very good form up north

Super Rugby-TT: Rd 1 Western Force v Chiefs, May 15th, Perth

Timani for sure, but Taefu / Godwin looked far better than our centres have with Kuridrani in them so far this year. Maybe Kuridrani off the bench, but he's likely not versatile enough. I'd prefer to see Ralston back and then Kahui on the bench for centre and wing cover. Lezana would be good...

Super Rugby-TT: Rd 1 Western Force v Chiefs, May 15th, Perth

That's a rather strong looking Chiefs team - thought (and somewhat hoped) they might rest a few players given the travel schedule. Will be very interesting to see how the Force measure up...

    Trans-Tasman Super Rugby 2021

The main idea of the 50-22 is to have defensive players dropped back to cover both side lines in the 22, which opens up more space out wide for the attacking teams. I like the rule and think most teams haven't made the most of it. Would be interesting to see if the Kiwis might be better at that...

    Wallabies 2021

He's also been very good around the ground this year, on top of his good scrum work. The change of scene has clearly done him a world of good. I was fully expecting Wagner to be ahead of Robbo by the end of Super Rugby AU, as he looks a real prospect (handled Tupou in the scrum last year and very good...

    Western Force 2021

That would be disappointing but somewhat understandable. He keeps getting overlooked for other 'bigger' names, despite generally outperforming them when finally given the opportunity. I'd also somewhat expect that he'll sign up for the Moana Pasifika team next year given his heritage, being...

Super Rugby AU Qualifying Final Brumbies v Force

Valiant effort from the Force with a huge defensive effort, but unfortunately didn't really fire a shot in attack and couldn't nullify the effect of the red card. The force forwards really put in and came out on top of the more fancied brumbies pack. The force territory and kicking game was a...

    Western Force 2022

This sounds good, although Prior has been pretty disappointing this season so hopefully McDonald is able to provide more. Disappointing McDonald's been out for a large part of the year with injury and hopefully he's able to recover in time to play some of the Trans-Tasman. Would be good to get...

Super Rugby AU Rd 9 Force v Waratahs

Attack was a step in the right direction, but defense was a big step in the wrong direction compared to the great defense we had in the Rebels game. It almost looked like we'd changed defensive systems, with no line speed and just allowing the Tahs to run at us.

Super Rugby AU Rd 9 Force v Waratahs

The Force were also pretty unlucky to not get another try or two. Two occasions that kicks through looked like certain tries only to be denied by cruel bounces and the Thrush charge down wasn't too far off either. Certainly looked a lot more dangerous in attack and created far more opportunities...

Fair enough - I probably should've checked the laws myself before posting!

    Refereeing decisions

I understand the use it call for mauls and rucks, but I don't think it should really be used for scrums. Teams should be able to keep it in their scrum for as long as they like, if they think they're going to be able to gain ascendancy or want to reposition the scrum to a more advantageous...

Super Rugby AU Rd 9 Force v Waratahs

Really? Might be my dark blue tinted glasses, but I'd go with the following: 1-3: Force slight advantage 4-5: Force clear advantage 6-9: Pretty even 10: Force clear advantage 11-14: Pretty even 15: Waratahs advantage
