Australia vs South Africa - Brisbane 7th Sept 2013

Disappointing. This was the perfect chance to move Fardy to lock, Mowen to 6 and McCalman to 8, which would've been my first picked side anyway (although Horwill starting over Simmons obviously) Having Schatz and McCalman on the bench really isn't balanced at all.

Aus vs NZ - 1st Test Sydney 17Aug2013

He also knows how to face the haka properly - see the last few seconds of this clip (I can't seem to find a better source - this one's cut off unfortunately) That's the sort of passion we want in the wallabies, and is bound to fire a whole team up!

    Fantasy Super rugby 2013

A very unexpected 495 for the round, especialy since I had 3 guys starting on the bench! Best round of the season so far I think, and now just outside the top 300.

TJ Ioane is on the bench. Just had to change my team because of it as well. Hope you still have your undo transfers up your sleeve!

Hookers also get points for lineout wins, although it's only 1 point for each, and -3 points for each not straight, so I guess it's only really ever a maximum of 10 points or so

    Wallabies Watch

Pek Cowan has been in good form all year at LHP and offers a fair bit around the ground as well as solid scrummaging, but I doubt he'll get a look in since he's at the Force.

    Western Force 2014

I think our prop stocks are pretty good once we get rid of Maafu and Manu gets elevated to a full contract. Cowan and Faulkner provide a lot around the ground, although prehaps not explosiveness. I think Manu's no slouch either from what I can recall. We defintely need someone to stand up and...

    Force v Cheetahs, R6 2013

Yeah maafu was definitely a liability last week.Should be out of the 22 and longbottom to the bench. A few too many forwards on the bench as well I think considering the expansive game the cheetahs have been playing. I'd have left junior on the bench and dropped wykes. Still not overly happy...

    Rebels vs Force, RD1 SR2013

That was definitely a game the force should've won. Clearly dominant in the first half, but unfortunately lost 4 or 5 of our own lineouts, which really makes it difficult to maintain momentum. That and the few missed penalty / conversion attempts and we should have been 10 to 15 points in the...

Australia v. France 10 Nov 2012 Stade de France, Paris

I think that this game was pretty much a fair reflection of where the wallabies are at this point in time, and probably for the last couple of years. We really don't deserve to be 2nd in the rankings, and seem to have just been lucky that our opposition hasn't brought their A game in a lot of...

2012 Rugby Championship R5G1 Springbokke vs Wallabies @ the Bull Ring

Sheehan looks far better than phipps, as expected. Much quicker service, and less stupid decisions. I still don't understand how phipps even gets a look in the wallabies extended squad

    G&GR Fantasy Rugby Competition 2012

Well I really should have checked the team lists properly before making my changes - bringing in Higgers for Pocock was a shocking decision! And Fritz Lee on my bench was pretty much useless. Would've been a semi decent round otherwise

3rd Place Play Off - Wallabies v Wales.

So why did sharpie get taken off so early? Sure he got bit of an injury in the first half, but he was playing on and obviously said he was OK to play on at half time. He was one of the best players on the park in the first half and it would have been more than fitting to let him play out the...

    Aussie Baa Baa's Vs Canada

I thought of those in the RWC squad, Nick Phipps and Rob Horne looked like they are very lucky to be in the squad looking at their performance against a minnow team. We looked better when Lucas replaced Phipps and Horne had a pretty minimal impact on the game, except for opening up that massive...
