    Western Force 2017

Hopefully Luke Burton has an injury free run for a change, as he will slot into 12 nicely, surrounded by strong defenders in Lance & Meakes

    Springboks v Wallabies - Sunday 2 October 1am AEST - Loftus Versfeld

I think the main problem I see with this team selection is that Sio is still starting, even though he is obviously carrying an injury. Slipper has been good every time he has come on, so I really don't see why we need to keep playing Sio and no doubt causing further damage.

    Western Force 2017

Would've liked to see this to give the young blokes some solid super rugby experience, but unfortunately Koteka hasn't been taken on tour. 6. Hardwick 7. Koteka 8. Cottrell

I was hoping they'd keep him on as forwards coach. Hopefully they did at least offer him that, but he turned it down and quit as a result so didn't have to pay out his contract....probably wishful thinking though

Wallaby 31 players for 2015 RWC

I agree. It'll either be Faulkner or Alexander. Also, any chance we might see JOC (James O'Connor) back? Didn't Cheika say something a while ago like he needed to get his fitness/form up and he might get a look in. Besides AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper), none of our wingers have looked especially great, so I'd be more than happy to go...

Wallaby 31 players for 2015 RWC

Why is no one mentioning Dane Haylett-Petty? He has more tackle busts than all of those above (84 in 8 games), is extremely solid under the high ball, has a big boot, great defense and can cover 11, 13, 14, 15. I'd certainly be much happier with him at full back than JOC (James O'Connor) or KB (Kurtley Beale) if Izzy went...

    Fantasy Rugby 2015

I swear I moved the players around like I wanted to before the round started, but somehow it didn't stick and I ended up with SBW, James Lowe and Chris Alcock on the bench. A lot of points going begging there!

    Western Force 2015

That appears to be the case. I believe it was rather successful last year, raising about the same amount of money but providing better engagement with the local community and also spreading the risk since you're not relying on one big sponsor. I'm a fan of the idea...

Spring Tour - Wallaby Forwards - What do the stats tell me?

I completely agree Braveheart - this is excellent stuff and is the missing part of so many stats as this is the hard work that is generally hidden and hard to measure. Am impressed that there is a clear pattern of 'rest' periods for the 80 minute players - shows that there is some good...

Spring Tour - Wallaby Forwards - What do the stats tell me?

Outstanding work ForceFan, and much appreciated. The numbers for Simmons are all rather low, which really highlights our problems at lock considering he is considered our number 1 at the moment. The numbers also seem to confirm that Hooper covers a hell of a lot of ground, although a lot of...

    England v Australia

Dane Haylett Petty. He's a natural fullback and had a really good 2014, although played much of it on the wing with Hayward playing at fullback. He'll be at fullback for the Force for all of 2015 though with Hayward gone. Safe under the high ball, a good long kicking boot, excellent defense and...

    Ireland v Australia

Why is everyone so keen to have Palu at 8 if/when he's fit again? McCalman has been great at 8 when he's been given the chance this year. Always gets through a mountain of work and puts in a very solid and dependable performance every week. Palu looks great against lesser opposition, but almost...

    France v Australia

Good looking team. I like the return of Horwill - he seems to be returning to some form of late and has increased his workrate. Could definitely be having more impact, but the signs are positive. Given this is our "easiest" game on tour, and the starting side is settled, I'd like to see a...
