Great news for Tah fans - Kurtley Beale reported for pre-season training yesterday and weighed in at......drum roll please....................... 92KG Only about 1 kg over his playing weight! Usually he rocks up to training and is about 6 or 7 kgs over. Sensational news and I think he is...

Changes at West Harbour. Andrew Cox has been appointed 1st grade coach. Stu Woodhouse is reviewing whether he will stick around. I hope he does as he seems like a good hand. Cox has previously coached at Warringah, Penrith and Norths. http://www.westharbourrugby.com.au/ COACHING AND...

    Brumbies 2011

It is good to see Brumbies staff have not succumbed to the temptation to include recent schoolboy Lindsay Crook in the main squad despite being one of the fitter and fastest of their plethora of outside backs. It is in everyone’s best interest that the younger players are given an opportunity...

I'm hearing Sills to contract and Cam Crawford remaining rookie making up the 32. Anyone heard anything?

Have to agree that Moore doesn't seem the talking type from what I've seen. I'm not sure he is the type to gather the boys around and encourage them to go into the trenches with him. No doubt he is a "follow me" type but you need to communicate as well. As for Jesse Parahi I understand he...

Melbourne v Sydney club game to be the curtain raiser for the Rebels

Antonio has gone o/s, Nifo's seen better days, there are better centres than Moore running around and Deba was running around in 2's at the end of the season.

I think each franchise has a career advisor to assist the players. I know the Tahs are big on this

I can't believe no one has mentioned the great Aussie winger Joe Roff. One of the best I've seen in any era.

Strengths and weaknesses of Super teams

He had some discipline problems when he was originally at the Tahs (missing training etc) not mungo-type stuff. At the end of the 2006 season he decided he wanted a break from professional rugby because of the pressures involved. So in 2007 he signed on to play mungoball with Asquith Magpies...

    Mungos copycat our 7's program

One of the smarter mungoes running around is former Newcastle Knight Danny Buderus. He has developed a blueprint to take mungoball global with what he calls Rugby Nines International League. He implores the games authorities to learn from the ascent of Rugby Sevens as a game initially designed...

    Melbourne Rebels 2011

I don't think the Rebels will be happy that Mildura is shown on the Brumbies map. The last time I was there it was a Victorian town.....just across the Murray River which is the border. Not sure if they produce rugby players though although their wines and Italian restaurants are superb!

Peter, he would be the fastest and strongest in the back three down there wouldn't he be?

That is a terrible photo of Timani on the Fox Sports link. He looks like a Columbian drug lord. I think the Tahs media people must also be on leave.

What about David Fordham as the caller? I think he is a freelancer now. He is a polished performer and has a rugby background.

How's he shaping up Bruce? Big Willy is the one that got away from Wests. He is about the only Hills Sports boy not to sign up with them.
