    Waratahs 2011

In the Australian article Hickey played down the fact that Hart had surfaced with the Tahs; denying they had signed him and "we'll keep a close eye on him". Me thinks there is more to this. Also Hart would be getting a decent quid from Southern who aren't shabby payers.

Hart was again training with the Waratah Academy yesterday in full Waratah uniform. Go figure!

    Waratahs 2011

I can't post a link. My source is someone at the Waratahs. I'm not sure why the Tahs have not put out a press release confirming the signing. We will just have to wait I suppose.

I went to a rugby lunch last year where the Big Dell was one of the speakers. He spoke very well and is very proud of what he achieved in rugby.

I'm reliably informed that the Tahs have signed Auckland half back Grayson Hart. He is already here and training with the Waratahs Academy and living in Cronulla. His uncle is former All Blacks coach John Hart and it has been reported he has Australian eligibility through his family heritage...

I'm hearing similar whispers about this bloke

    Brumbies 2011

He is not playing for the Brumbies up there either. He has been drafted into the Aussie 7's squad for there as well as Wellington and Las Vegas.

Thanks Enforcer; that's the best game review I have seen so far today.

    Brumbies 2011

I rate McCabe. I first saw him play fullback for CAS against a GPS side that included Beale at 5/8 and Turner at fullback. That afternoon he made so many last ditch tackles to stop GPS trys I turned to my son and said this bloke will play Super 14 one day. Unfortunately, I think he lacks...

    Western Force 2011

I'd be surprised if James Stannard doesn't get the 9. I think he adds a bit more attack and speed than Sheehan and is at the peak of his powers right now. He turned down a French contract after the London 7's where the Aussies won and I think he knows it's now or never.

Have you heard of a Richard Hugh McCaw (born 31 December 1980 in Oamaru, North Otago)?

Is Jesse Parahi playing for the Vikings again? Or has he jumped ship as well?

    Shute Shield 2011

I have a soft spot for the Highlanders but they have only themselves to blame. They are a strong brand in Australian rugby but they are prone from shooting themselves in the foot from time to time. The loss of head coach Lachlan Fear to Easts in 2010 due to financial constraints at the...

    Brumbies 2011

I'm told the game between the Aussie 7's and Brumbies &'s was a draw - 5 trys each with Crook snaring 2. I think the sevens could be a good avenue for the young fella to gain experience at international level before anything else. No doubt Michael "Snoz" O'Connor was suitably impressed. Both...

I believe the aussie 7's played against the Brumbies 7's yesterday in Canberra. Do you have a score and any other details?
