Wouldn't that make him U15 if he is playing Under 15 Gold Cup 2015-2016??? Apologies he was in the 2014-15 Logan squad and they spelt his name wrong - I expect he will be in the mix a some point but suspect this will all be mute in Mackiln has put an some extra bulk this off season. I agree...

I know TauTau's size/strength is no longer 'off the charts' but I would be surprised if he doesn't feature somewhere - certainly has more to offer than Colvin in the back row this season IMO .

If that is who I think you are referring to (brother in year 7) he is U15 not U16 and has not had a lot of propping experience - one year early for mine - if it is another boy ill need to do some homework. Keefer doesn't really offer anything over Macklin IMO. Macklin is the better...

Pretty sure it wasn't Stevens he missed a lot of games last year - from memory it was Joe Eckersley that filled in Lucus. From what I saw last season Ford Stevens offers a lot more options than Byron, IMO he has a lot work winning a position of Hartland, his brother and HFS - having said that...

I’ll have a very early crack at a GT Team. But expect it to change a bit as various boys put up their hands – equally if there are any new boys in grade 11 I haven’t heard about them. Previous Firsts experience in Red, Year 11 underlined 1 Oliver Macklin /Harrison/Grace 2 Harry...

Good to hear - that age group is going to throw up some outstanding match up over the next few seasons.

ARU Junior Gold Cup - National Junior Championships

There are certainly some very notable names and quality players missing from U15's this year, I'd say at least 5-6 of the very top players are missing from the Brisbane sides . Edit just realized (thanks Tashara) a couple of 'missing' were in the Ippy side so probably more like 4-5

Hey GO I am hearing word of a couple of missing students in year 10 at BBC this year - any truth??

My comments stand and were not based on watching a 'couple of games' last season but watching the body of work and development of the team over the last 3 years. For a start last season alone they transitioned the previous 10 to 9 to accommodate a new 10, (a player who was a better footballer...

The prop, I know of, is from Sunnybank, one flanker from Brothers the other Souths. One new boy in 15's brother of the prop in 13's - nice big lad plays 4 or 5 generally - one of the only weaknesses in that side was weight, he'll help there. Could be a couple of grade 9 boys will push to make...

2 back Rowers and a prop - more size and athleticism - IMO there will also be at least another 4 new starters from 2015 - I expect the team to be bigger and more aggressive up front than last year.

GT had 6 out that day and played boys in some weird positions to not disrupt B's too much - but credit due BBC were pretty good last year (better than their results) and will be much better this year. BUT trust me you will have a few injuries concerns in your team this season more than a...

I would have agreed but if all the recruits mentioned here turn up our 13's might just win the 14's and 15's as well ;-) Seriously though BSHS and IGS will be stronger than most here are giving them credit for and as I said BBC will be 'in' most games they play but depth will be their issue.

i was referring to the BJRU Rep sides that contest the State Champs the BJRU pick and Navy and Red team virtually City 1 and 2 from those that are involved in the Under 12 Development program - GT has two boys from the A (Red) and one from the B (Navy) teams staring this year. Sadly neither...

Makes more sense but agreed needed forwards not backs 10 12 13 where better than good in 13's last season. I am clueless on Jnr RL are these the same boys from the BJRU U12 City side or extra's??. Edit - from what I hear (not certain) there is a RL boy but he is U12 this year not U13??

Not saying you're wrong but I only know of one and thought he was a cousin, would be keen to know who the other one is. I hear you, where are they going to play him - 10, 12, 13 and 15 are all up there with the best in their positions and the wingers have pace to burn. Good problem I guess...

This will do for a start - Ill update as more info comes to hand 16A’s – Battle of today V tomorrow TSS GT NC IGS NC & GT will benefit greatly without their immersion programs. IGS were good last year, but I still think at full strength NC and GT are the cream of the crop here. If they...
