People also need to realize this new nations cup is not every year. There is nothing stopping the wallabies, all blacks etc playing against the tier 2 teams in the alternate years? And in the year of the nations cup the tier 2 teams will be busy with their own tournament no?

I am actually happy with the variety of playing 11 different teams across a year rather than playing the same teams multiple times. For example England always seems to avoid playing the All Blacks, something like 3 games in 5 years, that is a joke
