Western Force 2024

Still unsure of specialist wings...Potter anddd (can't think of 1 more, let alone 2 or 3.)
I thought Leahy might have been in the squad. Think he’s a 13 long term but has looked good for the 20s on the Wing.
like Stewart wanted to play 10.
There’s just always someone better than Stewart unfortunately for him.
Does anyone know why Campbell Parata left the Crusader’s system?
Are we ever going to see this guy?

The Force have only named 36, other teams have named 38 so we have held back a couple of spots. Would expect one of these to be a winger (Leahy) and need another hooker, unless Pearce has been converted

Ultimately, this squad is not strong enough particularly up front to compete with the best don't see the force making the top 8 and will probably finish 11th considering the rebels improved roster, they need more wallabies.

Yeah Tom Robertson will be a big loss and a world class hooker would have helped. If we can get Rodda on the field will make a huge difference.
I think Harris and Potter will prove to be good signings and Jeremy williams will step up to another level

Wasn't Pearce originally a hooker who moved to prop (and showed promise)?

Hopefully he can make a mark either way!

This is only the 2nd year for Simon Cron, his coaching panel and support staff.
They are building a squad, mostly based on developing young talent.
The average age of the 36 players named is <25yo.
There are still some spots to fill (THP, Hooker & Lock) but it seems the WF is reluctant to take the best of only those currently available.
I expect the WF to be competitive in 2024 but show the benefits of this young player development in 2025.
Jeremy Williams and Marley Pearse are examples of players who have flourished under Cron and his coaching team.
Many others are showing the benefit of being looked after by Simon Williams Thomas - Manager of High Performance and his strength, conditioning and rehab group.
However, there is a lot of pressure on some of the group to start realising their potential at SRP (Super Rugby Pacific) level.
It will interesting to see what other players are being included in the pre-season program.
There will be an ongoing feed of young talent being developed in the WTG, Academy (>20 in number) and the inclusion of club players into the training and development program.
It's still an exciting time to be in the West.

Force are not mucking around of the socials. It’s good stuff.

I like the jersey. Blue one is especially nice

I like the ad but the away jersey look like they are trying to pretend we already have a NRL team in Perth
