    Ballymore Redevelopment

The main advantage Perry Park has re transport is Bowen Hills train station across the road. They wouldn't likely need to reclaim any land at all. (this is putting aside the Hockey thing - unless the IOC change their rules re the space they need it sounds like it's not even a conversation)

    Ballymore Redevelopment

I imagine it would be a first for transport engineers to determine the solution to a traffic flow problem would be asking people to drink more and for longer

    Ireland v Wallabies - Sunday 1 Dec, 2:10 AEDT

I've watched a few of his games in Japan - I think his stock is benefiting from the level he is playing at. Very much a big fish/ small pond type of scenario. Looks very comfortable in a fast pace game that is played at a level of intensity that feels a lot lower than super. I would guess that...

    Ballymore Redevelopment

I'm not really sure how you solve the transport problem at Ballymore though? All of the access points on both sides of Enogerra Creek are via quiet suburban streets which has been the bane of locals since Ballymore V1 was built. Wilston train station would also require significant upgrade to...

    Ballymore Redevelopment

The guy undeniably loves Football, and sure - he's found an Engineer who agrees with him. But his biases don't automatically make him wrong or his points less valid

https://www.brisbanetimes.com.au/national/queensland/olympic-review-to-be-given-golden-triangle-vision-with-a-hint-of-pineapple-20241121-p5ksh9.html Loosely related to this thread and it does mention Ballymore (albeit not in a particularly favourable light) and this is nothing but an opinion...

    Wallabies 2024

Sorry to read that you'd had your own personal experiences here mate - but glad to know you're still loving and advocating for the game. I disagree with a fair bit of this however. The examples of Tom Curry and Botham are interesting too. Tom Curry is likely receiving a lot of specialist advice...

I for one am looking forward to rehashing the NCC/ 3rd tier debate in the off season

Nice little "unwatch" button at the top for those uninterested

Eh - I could be convinced either way. It's not exactly clear from the rear/spider cam angle where Sione starts. But anyway, that's the argument - that he was never onside to begin with and calling JAS offside midfield pedantically when he has no impact on play, while seemingly letting this go...

    Refereeing decisions

Maybe but it's not what I took away from LP's explanation on field. Him referencing the direction his palm was facing to me says it was for a DKO rather than deliberate into touch. FWIW I think it's the right outcome regardless. No genuine attempt to regain the ball so close to the try line/...

can't start offside though - which is the contention

    QLD Premier Rugby 2025

Think it's just noting the opinion of Grant Andersen rather than presenting an argument.

    Refereeing decisions

I'm with you now. This is the law Typically, infringements that close to the try line will see the non-offending team given the opportunity to score points, either by virtue of a try or awarding the penalty (and they can choose the 3) because what realistic advantage can be gained otherwise...

    QLD Premier Rugby 2025

Easts and Souths feels like another example of being in a terrible location within a great suburb. Club house is smack bang in the middle of a park with little to no access to it for a large number of prospective tenants or their customers who need to travel through quite suburban streets...

Scotland v Wallabies at Murrayfield 12.40am Mon 25 Nov

Maybe? This law can loosely be translated to 10.11. Don't take the piss Merely moving backwards is enough here, especially with the context of a hoove down field followed by a line break that collectively shifts the pill 75m up field in 10 seconds. The fact that Sione is remotely close would...

GPS in particular I would guess would not be favourable for many commercial tenants, given it's accessibility from main roads and lack of traffic flow.

Scotland v Wallabies at Murrayfield 12.40am Mon 25 Nov

Its less about what the tacklers do, more so the other arriving players competing at the breakdown, no? Tacklers not rolling is pretty heavily scrutinised and we saw a few PKs both side of the ball today for this.
