Scotland v Wallabies at Murrayfield 12.40am Mon 25 Nov

I do too. That was kind of my point. It's bloody hard. If they do it, it would be amazing. If they don't, we should still recognise the progress of this tour. Not only for the wins, but mainly for the way they have played. A big step forward.

Just watched (re-watched, actually) the '84 Grand Slam vid. I remember these games from the time, and a lot of what is said in that video regarding the cohesion, focus, application and approach to how they would play rings a little true with the current team / squad. Should the current crop go...

November Internationals (excluding Wallabies & NZ)

This lack of consistency will be an ongoing issue and I'm not sure how they will sort it. We see it within games (Nic White for example) and from game to game, ref to ref. Some ARs seem to look at every impact, others not so much. The principle of reducing head contact is great, the process will...

Hmm, looks a bit like an Irish hand in the mix there. Maybe Argentina can feel aggrieved. I wonder, if they got a penalty, would they have gone for a tap or just kicked the 3 for a draw?

Forgot a special mention for Frost for that try - looked like a racing camel that had thrown its jockey - looked like he was running in slow motion but no-one was taking a metre off him!

Completely agree. No flashy highlights, just a lot of good work.

"Valetini - usual" means he was bloody good, as he is pretty much all the time.

Few random thoughts. Not buying into the Kerevi head-contact sub-thread. Except to say i thought he was going pretty well prior to the card. Not exceptional but I can definitely see why Schmidt wants him around. Skelton was a point of difference. Plenty of carries, which may not be bulk metres...

We lost badly to Wales in the RWC mainly on the back of poor forward play. That's where it will be more critical. I can see the logic in starting Kerevi, much as I am excited by what JAS can do.

The only thing that would make Campo happy would be sitting in a Delorean, about to hit 88mph with the dial set to 1991.

Honestly, sometimes we can't seem to help ourselves from tinkering. I think we change only what needs changing due to injury. So, if Kerevi is in line for the 23, it's the bench. The guys who came off the bench last match did the job. Jorgensen likely to start in lieu of Pietsch. Whatever Joe...
