Yeah, they do seem to be. Imagine if someone even better at 13 emerges. As @Tomthumb says, we are 10th in the world, so maybe some new things could be tried.

Honestly, the level of dogma on these boards at times drives me nuts. Players like Ikitau are proper rugby players and I cannot see why he could not adapt well to 12.

The Wallabies have been a defensive liability for the Wallabies all year. Individuals miss tackles; poor defensive structure loses games. Our poor structure creates the gaps that kill us from constant retreating in defence. But yes, Kellaway has been poor, no argument.

I think Kellaway might be better as a fullback than as a winger. However, I don't think he is better than Wright in either position, currently. Different question, maybe, if he was in the form he showed a couple of years ago in Tests, but he has been well down on that form lately.

It does read fairly ambiguously though. I reckon there would be a high chance that a tackler trying to tackle a player off the ground will get penalised / carded as the default is more likely to be "unsafe" than "safe". Still think launching in the air should be deemed "not on".

I see him at 13 or 15 longer term. I don't really see the point of putting him on the wing in the meantime. I'm probably wrong though.

SA are just in another league at the moment. Far more really good players, way better depth. Their attacking structures are fantastic. Watch their structures with cut passes in the backline - the cut runners run a clever, and legal, line that gives the next receiver just a little bit more space...

For mine, should have been disallowed. How can you legally tackle him in the air? Removes the contest, which is fundamental to the ethos of Rugby.

Happy to see competition; I really like seeing what Edmed has done with this NPC stint. Improving his overall game, kicking has been solid and more of an attacking player. I think they both have more potential too.

Edmed continues to impress at North Harbour. Keen to see how he develops with the Tahs next year.
