Australian Bid for 2027 World Cup

There are also plenty of event buses that come to the precinct from all parts of Sydney on game days with the cost included in the ticket price. Not that difficult to be honest. Plenty of parking, train at the doorstep and event buses make it fairly simple to get there and leave. Not the...

    Reds 2023

I thought Nasser was excellent prior to injury, had a feeling he could potentially go to the next level in time.

    Wallabies 2023

You're correct about what historically happened with Holloway in the back-row, but it's chalk and cheese when comparing his form at the moment. This is just a completely different player compared to pre-Japan.... In current form he's crushing it. Looks fitter, stronger and far superior attitude...

Australian Bid for 2027 World Cup

Highly likely you're presence won't be required to fill the ground mate, but you'll still be most welcome to join us.....

    Wallabies 2023

I agree that Holloway could be starting at 6... ticks all the boxes except perhaps over the ball... but makes up for it with those enormous choke tackles (which have resulted in at least half a dozen turnovers via maul collapse..) Probably the most improved player in the Oz conference IMO...

    All Sloppy Rig/Dad-Bod XV

Seriously, with the likes of Rupeni, Nadolo, Bastareaud etc 120kg would be closer to the cut mark....;) Throw in the likes of Tonga flyhalf Pierre Hola, Big Taqele Naiyarvoro and you have the elite sloppy rig backline... I'd love to see this line-up.... Weepu, Hola, Taqele, Nadolo...

    Ready is a certainty...!

Kellaway has played plenty of fullback, has a decent boot and ticks all the boxes.... I'd be inclined to have him as my first pick over Banks. Hodge is also an option.

    Rebels 2023

100% agree!! Even the Crusaders have a crack when it helps... Pablo Matera ring a bell? Nothing wrong with a big name marquee player to improve any Oz Super Rugby teams, especially if it gets the turnstiles spinning! How good was Potgieter in the day at the Waratahs...

    Waratahs 2022

You can't beat quality teams with a 2 man shortfall. The points scored whilst undermanned was pretty much the difference, adding to that when you can't win your own lineouts due to being 2 hookers down it's near impossible. I was extremely proud of the fight and effort by the boys last night...

    Waratahs 2022

Two of them start at both10 and 15, with the other on the bench, all getting good minutes every week. Can mix and match as well. Issue next year is where Beale slots in... Always injury opportunities at this level, so generally one of the 3 would be on light duties at any given moment. Edmed has...

    Waratahs 2023

Why must this be an either or situation? Not exactly apples and apples. Roberts is on a short term deal for peanuts, has barely played and will either be on the same deal next year or not at all. So no issue there. Beale will likely be either FB or bench. Why wouldn't you have Beale and Nadolo...

    Waratahs 2023

Tahs are still very much in need of a XL body in the backs. Nadolo, at 130kg+, brings a whole new challenge to any teams defensive pattern... Even at his age I'd have him there in a heartbeat, he brings a far superior rugby skillset compared to Taquele N, (Though I wouldn't say no to him...

    Wallabies 2023

IMO every time he's had an opportunity he's just delivers the goods. Excellent vision, deft short passing, accurate long passing, deceptive speed, an accurate and very long boot, reliable goalkicking, can drop kick accurately and is a gutsy defender.... . He just seems to tick all the boxes...

    Wallabies 2023

I'll be surprised if Lolesio is even in the conversation by the time RWC 23 comes around. In my humble opinion we'll most likely have Q Cooper/JOC (James O'Connor) jostling for the start with either Carter Gordon or Donaldson as the next in line. both of these two will be well past him by the EOYT this year...

    Waratahs 2022

Tizzano brings that intense, brutal style of 7 reminiscent of Phil Waugh whereas Gamble is more the street smart footballer, bit faster, clever and finds himself in the right spot to make a difference, both great young 7's who bring something different. I did read somewhere that Tizzano was a...

    Waratahs 2022

Tahs Final trial team v Reds announced with a few names missing completely.... Ruan Smith, RWV, Tizzano, Porecki, Nawaqa, James Grant the stand outs not named..... Jimmy 'the jet' Turner named in the starters..... Trial form rewarded and a good Shute shield recruit story, may even be on track...
