    Wallabies 2023

Langi has been named in the Manly starting team..

    Broadcast options for Australian Rugby

I'd love to see a model as follows... a fully domestic competition of 8 teams x 2 rounds and finals.. circa 18 weeks. Followed by a short Heineken cup style involving the top 16 teams from NZ, Aust, Japan, possibly with other participants like Samoa, Tonga etc with 4 pools, round robin and...

    Wallabies 2023

That side is a fair way off our best.... AAA Porecki / Fainga'a Bell Rodda - With Arnold clearly not match fit either... Neville Hooper Along with Cooper Kerevi Kellaway Banks Perese Paisami These guys were all in the Wallabies squad for the first test with 5 blokes pulled in from the A...

    Wallabies 2023

Tom Hooper is (IMO) a very similar physical profile to Jed Holloway.... and I get the distinct feeling that that is the type DR is looking for in the 6 position. High work rate, big body, lineout presence, can dent the line in attack and hit hard in D. Can also offer a strong bench option...

    Waratahs 2023

TBH I think Edmed has the size and running game to also play at 12. Triple threats at 10,12 and 15.... all young.... Tahs dynasty on the way!!! ;)

    Waratahs 2023

I think that on the assumption Beale will only be there for 2023 they could conceivably keep all three after that... 2 starting. one on the bench with the luxury of being able to rotate them or cover for injury... Great outcome for everyone.

    Waratahs 2023

Really only need a serviceable LH to sit behind Bell and an XXL lock to complete the roster. Would love one of the Brumbies NSW locks to come across.... any of Frost, Neville and Hooper (all NSW born and bred) Bloody warehousing if you ask me............. although we've probably got one too...

    Aussie Player Exodus

Douglas was announced as one of the Tahs departing this year. Destination unknown.

    Wallabies 2023

Bit hard to be the first at the cleanout all the time when you're making the first tackle, first to chase the kicks, running the ball, running support lines etc. But ok, Pete Samu is better than Hooper if you like.... Who are those idiots that nominate plodders for WR (World Rugby) player of the year anyway?

Can they please just change it to the George Smith award already! ;)

    Wallabies 2023

I don't think it comes down to what he did, more what he forces the defence to do... if he is a running threat, which Smith is, he forces the defence to factor it into their alignment, no threat, then the defenders concentrate on the next link... Kerevi. Even if you never run, the defence still...

    Wallabies 2023

Lolesio just doesn't constitute the triple threat the wallabies need to create more space in the wider channels. Any defensive line only needs to defend the pass/kick option. Don't get me wrong, I think he's a very good footballer and has played pretty well during this series.. (especially...

    Waratahs 2023

Would still end up sitting behind Gamble at the Tahs post Hooper

    Waratahs 2023

One Super Rugby standard back up in Vailanu, Horton currently not up to standard as a scrummager or thrower. Yes, solid around the park, but weakens the team at set piece unfortunately. Latu has been foolish a number of times, but where is the downside for the Tahs? He screws up again then he is let...

    Waratahs 2023

Agree completely. Excellent player when on song, low cost, if it doesn't work out, then move him on. Could be a great redemption story ala Perese... Coleman seems to be creating a fantastic playing culture that's bringing out the best in the players currently at the Tahs. Look at Holloway as a...

    Reds 2023

Just an FYI, the Tahs had a very, very good team in 2011 and would have featured deeper into the finals except for a massive injury toll later in the year that had them dropping out of the finals in the first week. They completely belted the reds 30 - 6 in round 2. Most of the injured players...

    Force 2023

James Ramm and Alex Newsome from the Tahs perhaps, both just went o/s when a spot could have been found at the Force. Newsome especially as he kicked off his career there.

    Waratahs 2023

Would be happy to grab one of the Sydney born locks at the Brumbies, any of Hooper, Frost or Neville.... They could have one of our young 10s... either Donaldson or Harrison. Pretty good deal if you asked me ;)
