What will lose the RWC for the Wallabies?

if there is injury to Cooper i would be inclined to JOC (James O'Connor) at 10 even with no Test experience in that position. He would really be the best fly-half after Cooper.

    Rugby console game

I heard HB studios is taking on a new rugby game but it wont be endorsed by EA. Go to TheRugbyForum.com. The game play should be similar to previous rugby games but they will have some licensing problems since EA is not on board, which means some teams and players names won't be included. But it...

Crusaders vs Chiefs: MATCH THREAD: Napier - 2011R14

Israel Dag out, Its not a big lose if Mils or Cory Jane are fully fit. Toeva is pretty damn good too. They got some depth at fullback.

What will lose the RWC for the Wallabies?

Scrum will be fine with Robinson Kepu/Slipper TPN/Moore. All good scrummagers apart from maybe slipper but he's improving. Might give away a penalty or two but Im sure he can hold his own for most of the RWC. Beales also improving under the high ball. Id say 1. Physicality 2. Defence in...

    Wallaby Blindside/Number 8 watch

I think if ur picking on form then Gerrard would be ahead of McCabe and Shepherd but we all know Deans won't pick him. No mention of Hodgson either, I think after Pocock he is the best pilferer we have. But the only worry I can see is AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) and his poor form this season.

    Wallaby Blindside/Number 8 watch

Samo would be perfect for the bench. He covers 4,5,6,8. And the impact he will bring is perfect for the last 20-30minutes of a game. Plus he has loads of experience. But I'm not sure about him starting. Im all for Higgers starting though, with his pace and physicality he has so much more...

Resting Test Players during the Super Rugby Season

Don't we have Japan or something in our RWC pool. Genia and Cooper can rest then.

    Hybrid Test 22

Its an experimental game so why not experiment. Id personally love to see how a Front Rower or a Lock would go in League. TPN always seems to smash his way through defences so it will be interesting to see how he'd go against league defenders. And it would also be great to have Cooper in the...

    Can we have Cooper & O'Conner @10/12?

He is a good player, makes little errors and a solid defender but IMO he is a winger that struggles to beat a man one on one. Sure he has pace but I have never ever seen him use it. Its great to have good defending players (especially in the centres) but I want my wingers to be attackers first...

Reds vs Blues, Suncorp Stadium, 2011R13

Unfortunate the Blues are missing Kaino, would have been a great match up for Higgers :(

    Can we have Cooper & O'Conner @10/12?

We will all know if Fainga actually has a chance after the Blues and Saders games coming up. If he goes well IMO he should definitely be in with a chance!

    Can we have Cooper & O'Conner @10/12?

So its pretty safe to say the backline will be: 9. Genia 10. Cooper 11. Ioane 12. ? / JOC (James O'Connor) 13. AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) (poor form but their is no-one else) 14. ? / JOC (James O'Connor) 15. Beale So it pretty much comes down too who would you rather pick? Giteau, Barnes, Turner, Mortlock and to a lesser extent A.Fainga...

    Fainga'a's are flankers

It hard to pick the 3rd choice hooker at the moment. Saia is definitly up there but he is a pretty poor scrummager. I dont think he is a very good carrier of the ball either. I personally think he lacks strength for test rugby but he is great around the park and mostly good at line-outs. He's a...

    Can we have Cooper & O'Conner @10/12?

I have to agree im an still more concerned about 13. Id be happy with either JOC (James O'Connor), Barnes, Gits at 12 as they all have valid arguements. JOC (James O'Connor)'s attack, Barnes defence, Gits is in better form this year and has load of experience. Even if all 3 were injured i wouldnt be disappointed seeing Fainga as...

    All Black Injury Crisis

I think the only player New Zealand need to worry about is Dan Carter. McCaw is a big lose also but I do believe they can manage without him, the success of the crusaders without Richie is a prime example. The depth in most other positions is also quite large like mentioned above their centres...

    Brumbies 2011

Does anyone know when Hodgson is off contract? He would be a great asset at the Brumbies and would solve the issues at 7 and will not hurt the Force too much as they already have Pocock, Brown and McCalman. It would be good for Aus Rugby if Hodgson moved to the Brumbies, Rebels or even the Tahs...

    Brumbies 2011

I agree, with Jake White here next year and after his World Cup Boks selection preferences you'd have to expect a large Backrow. Which actually doesnt seem to bad with Hoiles, Vaea, presumably Elsom, potentially that new signing from Toulon all good options. I do however hope he chooses only 2...

    Rebels v Reds. AAMI Stadium - 2011R12

Just noticing the impact of the back line with 10. Cooper 12. Harris. I remember last year people saying Cooper works best having running or crashing balling centres but you'd have to say Harris is more a 10 himself. Is Ewen adopting the 2 playmaker strategy like Deans? Seems to be working for me.
