AUSTRALIAN MEDIA NOT HELPING (Including you Scarfman).

That sort of graph would be way too complex for anyone in treasury to understand.

    2010 SA Currie Cup Competition

The quality of the rugby in the CC is very good this year. Shit the WP team looks good. They just kept going. The great thing for them is that they still have a core of players together through CC back into Super 15. They will be better next year and are a real chance for the S15.

The guessing game: return of Vickerman

Yada yada Eddie. He went to Uni. A good uni I admit. He played a bit of footy, studied a lot, and probably drank some beer. Vickerman has one thing that can help him stup up quickly - strenght of character. He is the sort of guy that if he wants it, he will work hard on his fitness and...

Have you ever lost "respect" for your favourite players?

I lost respect for Bakkies Botha four years ago. Does that count? I am losing respect for John Smit for getting out of shape the way he has.

So neither Louw, Zane or Dewald will feature against ABs?

Bok Training Squad for the Home 3N games

I half agree. Muir is not up to standard (Super 14 disaster) and neither is Snor. They have been blessed with a squad of players in their prime and laws that 100% suited their style. As soon as they had to move outside that core 22 they had no answers. Witness 3rd Lions test and EOYT selection...

    The Rugby Club, PdV, Canno

Actually Hoskins has been making surprisingly good sense until his brain went boom.

    Does JP look fit Paarl?

Bok Training Squad for the Home 3N games

I'll stop when I see a plan. Even if we are losing. Schalk is not an openside. He has always been makeshift. His best rugby has been playing blindside. We need an openside on the field, but we can't drop Schalk for Flo. We need Juan for his physicality and ball carrying. Spies has been piss...

    The Rugby Club, PdV, Canno

There was never going to be any other ruling. I am not defending PdV's fuckwit clowntics but I never expected anything from this. He used no words that per se would be against what one would think would be in a code of conduct. No judge anywhere in any situation rules on what could have...

    The Rugby Club, PdV, Canno

Yeah I saw that and immediately hit the rewind button anf though fuck, 8 weeks and gone. Somehow Pocock didn't even protest. That much was weird. Burger is a dirty player. Unfortunately. As much as I like the way he actually plays when he is "on".

Bok Training Squad for the Home 3N games

PS I can't see Steyn starting. He has not played rugby since the Wales test and apparently is carrying injury. JdV should start at 12 and I would move Schalk to 8 and play Flo and Juan. Spies has had three tests in a row where he has been pretty bad.

Bok Training Squad for the Home 3N games

Paarl it's simple why we did well until last year: The breakdown rules favoured our style play. Our best players were in their prime. All firing 100%. There was very little for the coaches to do. The tactics were in place and running smoothly and had been for two years. Suddenly FdP injured...

Bok Training Squad for the Home 3N games

PS. The bigger problem is selection and coaching. They are not bold enough to build depth and try out new players that will give some oldies time off. I also think that their coaching is sub-standard until they prove otherwise.

Bok Training Squad for the Home 3N games

For everyone's benefit, Tim Noakes is a renowned sports scientist. He is saying that some the top Boks are old and tired and need eight weeks of conditioning and need to play minimal rugby prior to the RWC. No surprise. Paarl then quotes the WP coach who says that players need to play to...

Bok Training Squad for the Home 3N games

From what I have seen written in the SA media, the Smit TH experiment is over. But with Clownus Horrobulus you never know.

Bok Training Squad for the Home 3N games

Hartman: It's irrelevant who they pick in the games. The right people are not in the squad. Spot on. Those guys you mention all deserve a go and there is no better time than now. You can't start Bismarck yet. He has to come off the bench. You won't see them drop Smit. Steenkamp cannot play...

Has Woodencock been cited or not?

It was reckless and unecessary. It's not about how much damage an action inflicts, it's about the action itself. If he had hit him 5cm higher on the neck Finger may have left the field injured. Would that then make it a citing offense?
