There's a whole lot of hoping going on which suggest this will be frantic.

last was 2007 3N before the RWC when we sent the pie squad down.

Yeah stepping up in the test arena is another thing. He would still be better than Fat Arse Ricky. At least he will be poresent at the ruck while it is in progress. Butch James is having a cracker of a free holiday.

Yah if they had a problem with Louw I cannot underastand why they aren't starting Potgieter who is a natural 7. Look Kankowski is a game breaker and I suspect he an Spies will take turns at 7 and 8. Maybe on attacke Kanko will be at 8 because he and Pienaar know each other so well. Spies is...

Played there his entire career until last year. He is a scrummie who can play wing.

Bok wings aren't big. See no reason it can't.

    Higgin who? No surprises there.

Well the way the media has been ridiculing the Boks they should actually forfeit and fuck off home. Seriously, today's SMH was the most childish and embarassing reporting I have ever seen. It's like some fucking school weekly. Two pages on ridiculing PdV which I though expired as a sport...

    All Blacks vs Springboks, Wellington

All the SA media and fans share your views on Smit. PdV inherited a great team which with its leaders all firing was able to just keep going. Few injuries, few law changes and we can now see that this coaching staff has not shown the ability to adapt. We don't yet know how SARU will react but...

I think this game is going to be very, very close and could go either way. With Paarl. If they pick Januarie you can put it in the bag.

Seriously, do people think Deans will start the 3N with a 4 and 8 making debuts (Higginb and Simmons) and a 12 that's hardly played in tests? I doubt it very much. And this obsession with size. Where the fuck did that come from? It's rubbish.

Agree except would drop Spies for being such a pussy. I think the team we will see will have Olivier at 12 and Rossouw at 5.

    Wallabies v Springboks, Brisbane.

Unlikely unless there is a clear directive and agreement to rest Fourie du Preez which I doubt beacuse it will be his last year in Super15.

Played eight Super games in 2008 at 9. HE is first and foremost a scrummie and I firmly believe he will be one of the best in future. He is playing wing for the simple reason that he is quick enough.

I would pick Duvenhage and Sarel Pretorius long before Vermaak who is an error prone. Hougaard will be the long term successor for PdV if the grapevine is to be believed At this stage we won't see any new scrummies so all we can hope for is that Pienaar starts

Not being selected? There are three potentially great scrummies in SA. PdV thought he could get away with Januarie at 9 and Jdv at 14 until FdP and JP Pietersen are back. It's nabbed him in the arse.

    Wallabies v Springboks, Brisbane.

Yes. But after Olivier's bad two weeks JdV would for sure have started at 12. Major setback. Nightmare two weeks. Olivier will start again unless they have the balls to play Juan de Jongh. Don't think they do.
