    Wallaby Watch 2014

He's the guy who ran into 2 props and bounced them off like they were under 12's wingers.

    Wallaby Watch 2014

Being the incumbent gives him an advantage but he far from a clear favourite. I feel people think he is a clear favourite just because he has a good attitude on and off and the field and is a very likeable character. He has had some solid perfomances but that's not enough at this level. Too...

    Wallaby Watch 2014

There's a good chance he won't even make the squad come next year. Tomane, Spreight, AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper), JOC (James O'Connor), and now Horne who plays a similar game all in contention. I think the badge was just happy he got the chance to play for the wallabies. A top bloke and I wish him well, but in terms of the...

Yeh Rob Horne is playing superbly. I would probably rather him over Cummins anyway.

    Brumbies 2015

When you win something like 4 out of 5 man of the matches its hard to ignore. Combined with the fact there were no other decent options at the time playing 10, Cooper injured, JOC (James O'Connor) limited game time etc. Foley and To'omua weren't exactly on the scene then. If he wasn't selected it would have been...

    Brumbies 2015

Lealifano's form at 10 before injury proves otherwise. He was a shoe in for 10 at the wallabies. I suspect the only reason he wasn't put back in 10 was because To'omua preferred playing at 10 and Lealifano prefers 12. Also the fact that To'omua was untested at 12 at the time. So fair enough. But...

Agreed. I feel Larkham is has played it too safe. He has failed to make the hard decisions. Early on that was picking McCabe ahead of Lealifano.

    Brumbies 2015

I think the Brumbies are probably the last Aussie franchise to need a general play kicking coach. A goal kicking coach would be handy but generally our kickers in White, Mogg and To'omua execute well. It's just when to kick is the problem, which i feel is more strategy and mindset more then...

    Brumbies 2015

Thoughts on this? For myself, Larkham is still pretty fresh and it's hard to get a good assessment of his success as a coach. For example, this is is first year as coach and he has largely just continued the same regime and strategy White put in place. Also, I question the game-play of our...

    Waratahs 2014

This is all true but what im saying is, drop him to the bench. Every team has there strongest 15 they would like to start with and currently Dennis is in that team, being the captain and all. If Skelton, Dennis, Douglas, and Palu make it to the Grand Final uninjured Dennis shouldn't start...

When are the Tahs going to drop Dennis. Skelton and Potegieter are much better.

Wallabies v France - June 14 Etihad Stadium

Agreed. The All Blacks use the up and under so effectively. I'm not sure why we aren't doing the same especially with Falou in the team.

    Wallabies v France 3rd Test - 21 June Sydney

I'd like to see To'omua doing it as well. He needs to use his running game more at 12.

Wallabies v France - June 14 Etihad Stadium

Maybe McKenzie is testing his players versatility. It's nice to know the halves are capable of playing different game plans. You simply can't change an entire team for every different game plan we choose to implement. Especially the halves. You want as much continuity as possible - which means...

Wallabies v France - June 14 Etihad Stadium

Quicker but less effective. Plus Pocock is better at defensive rucks. It's games like this that Hooper is unable to shine. There is limited opportunity for him to threaten on attack with his runs, so his breakdown work needs to be take priority. Not that he had a bad game by any means but for...

Wallabies v France - June 14 Etihad Stadium

My first thoughts were how many bloody pilfers the French were able to get? Was it 5 to 0? The French forwards really competed at the breakdown and the scrum whereas in the previous Test we completely dominated. I thought the French 6 and 7 were very good. Its games like that I wish we still...

    Wallaby Watch 2014

There is no need for your passive aggressive comment at the end there. You could be right but at the time I saw it differently. As I'm sure many other did, even the commentators mentioned it at the time. I think it was Matt Burke and he is no slouch when it comes to rugby.
