    Wales v Australia

Was definitely a success. Still lots of improvement to be made too. Which is exciting. Would love to see more runners hitting the ball at pace. There seemed to be a lot of flat-footed play. I expect to see less flat-footed play as the players adapt to "Cheika-ball". If we continue to improve...

    Wales v Australia

Yes after watching the reply I regret not putting Hooper in my 3-2-1.

    Wales v Australia

how exactly is stating "we should not play down to lesser opposition" provincialism? It's a wallaby opinion as a whole. And I said "most the time". England played well too so I wouldn't call them push overs. FYI, I'm a Brumbies supporter, But I'd prefer Cooper at 10 over both Foley and To'omua...

    Wales v Australia

Well we didn't beat SA and NZ this year. And If you read the rest of my post you will see evidence backing up that comment. He needs to cut out the errors and improve the defence because teams like NZ and SA find ways to expose weaknesses and take full advantage of errors. If you think Foley...

    France v Australia

I don't see him rotating combinations. Maybe one player at a time. I think the starting team will be similar with the injection of Higgers. Would like to see Speight this game, Genia more time from the bench, Cooper on the bench. To'omua might rotate with Lilo, or Horwill with Carter. Maybe a...

    Wales v Australia

If you think we are going to beat a top 3 team with that performance you are crazy. 2 forward passes, 2 aimless grubbers (one lead to a try against us), missed touch, that last kick in the dying seconds could have easily lost us the game, he is predictable on attack and his defence is still...

The bench certainly had much more impact this time round.

    G&GR MOM - Wales v Australia, Cardiff 8/11/14

    3. Falou - his tries won us the game 2. Phipps 1. Kuridrani

    Wales v Australia

Good to get a win. Shows our class and adaptability with having a new coach and having so many off-field disruptions. Surprised Foley got MOTM. I hate to be negative but I don't rate him. There is something Barnes-esque about him that I really do not like. For example he put in 2 aimless...

    Official Sean McMahon Bandwagon Thread

Comparing the 2 backrows, who exactly is McMahon up against? Are Wales light-weights? It's not like he is up against a large aggressive SA pack so I think he will be quite effective. Correct me if I am wrong.

    Wales v Australia

Yes i re-call the great aspect of Coopers game was he used to play flat. My thinking is that he dropped back a lot deeper because of Genia's slow service.

    Wales v Australia

I actually think Genia is holding Quade back at this stage. Imagine how much better Cooper would play with quick service. I have a feeling a White/Phipps combo with Quade would be much much better.

thought the team was being announced today? Any news?

    Wales v Australia

North V Kuridrani is going to be epic!

    Wales v Australia

lots of 50/50 calls. Bench: Genia/White Bench: Cooper or Lilo/To'omua Starting 12: Lilo/To'omua Wing: Horne/Speight/Tomane

    Wales v Australia

Gee wouldn't you think Lilo's last performance demands selection? Couldn't get much better then that. Only downside is, he has only played one game.

    Wales v Australia

I agree with Cheiks comments. Think Horwill is doing well despite a few critical comments on these forums. I think people have such high expectation of him, they want him to play like Retallick every game, I see him as a solid option that does his job effectively.

    Official Sean McMahon Bandwagon Thread

Well 6'1 ain't that bad for a line-out option. And 100kgs is pretty damn good for his current speed and mobility.

    Official Sean McMahon Bandwagon Thread

He's only 20, He has plenty of time to get bigger - if he chooses too. How tall is McMahon? Think he would be a lot safer option then Hodgson. Plus like I mentioned before if we have 3 good options plus an okay option in McMahon, then against a player like Matfield that is pretty bloody good.

    Official Sean McMahon Bandwagon Thread

So where would you like to see McMahon, at 6 or 7? Considering he is still being used as a line-out option, that might be not as big an issue as you think. Assuming he is more then capable of winning our own throw but might lack defensive line-out abilities, If Higgers is your 8 then that...
