The ratings counters actually use audio to detect what's being watchhed iirc, so if you used Foxtel play, and had a ratings survey box, you'd be included in the rating number. Again though, the official ratings only count their sample. If you're not in the sample, you won't be counted

The elephant in the room is that we as a country do produce enough quality players for 5 competative pro teams, it's just that there's 100 guys playing OS, among them some of our best and brightest. Until we work out a way to stem that flood it's all really just fiddling around the edges
