    Waratahs 2020

It is now accepted that the Tahs still have a mathematical chance of making the finals if results go their way. If the intracacies are too much for you to get your head around, just accept it and try not to worry too much.

And truly, resting Hooper would be just as detrimental to the Tahs as resting all of the other four players supposedly involved.

I admit my error, but the contention remains true for the Rebels and Chiefs game ending in a draw. Not to put a too fine point, or scalpel, on it.

    Brumbies 2020

Tom Ross is very young and inexperienced as far as props go. I think his form when he's come on in his appearances this year is a progression on his play in the NRC, so I have a fair amount of confidence he will grow into an excellent THP. Wouldn't hurt to have another strong player like Vui...

Great if Joe is coming back. Would be the ideal replacement for Henry Speight.:)

    Waratahs 2020

Surely, there is still a mathematical chance of the Tahs making the finals. Cannot overtake the Lions or any above them, but if the Stormers beat the Sharks, the Tahs have a win with a bonus point and the Highlanders and Rebels draw, then I think the Tahs scrape into 8th. Resting the Wallabies...

Wouldn't Josh Ioane then have the No 10 spot? Seems to be the best of the rest.

Waratahs v Brumbies, 7.45pm, Sat 8th June, BankWest (Parra) Stadium

From Wikipedia: Coaching career McKellar was a premier grade assistant coach at Souths Rugby Club in Brisbane in 2007,[7] and the head coach from 2008 to 2010.[3] He was appointed as coaching director and head coach of the Tuggeranong Vikings Rugby Club in Canberra for seasons 2011 and 2012...

Waratahs v Brumbies, 7.45pm, Sat 8th June, BankWest (Parra) Stadium

One of the years the Chiefs won, 2012 or 2013, the Brumbies led the final until late in the game after beating the Bulls in SA. Wasn't just the competition structure that got them to the final.

    I blame Tom Carter.

    RD 17: Crusaders v Rebels

Uelese put in a good shift, as did Naisarani Nobody else covered themselves in any glory. I think Jones lost a lot of ground to Salakaia-Loto on that performance.

I think he's just getting confident and comfortable with his spot in the side and his talent/skills is/are showing through.

Valetini would have to be a strong contender for the squad and I wouldn't be at all unhappy if he made the 23.

    Under-20 Competitions including Oceania & World U20s

Just finished watching the replay. Can't say that at any stage did I think the Irish were dominating the Junior Wallabies. The Aussie defensive setup is quite sensational and one on one they dominated their direct opponents across the field. Even the scrum showed improvement to be at least on...

QH I have a lot of sympathy for the view that the employer should not get involved with the employee's life away from work. I haven't seen the post by Folau or any other related material save what has been discussed on this site, but I understand from early posts that Folau was pictured in his...

Waratahs v Brumbies, 7.45pm, Sat 8th June, BankWest (Parra) Stadium

KOB, I am a little your way of thinking. I was nervous as hell before the game but that first half really soothed those nerves. The Tahs did fight back in the second half, but overall the Brumbies were better and earned their win. As far as the Banks knock on is concerned, I similarly thought...

I would swap Jones and Salakaia-Loto, but otherwise agree in full.

Speak for yourself (or at least for the Tahs) Gnostic. Apart from missing the finals last year, the Brumbies have made it to the playoffs most years since about 2012 or 13. Some years their form has been not so good but this year they have beaten two NZ sides and Three SA teams. I think they...

In some ways, sorry to see Brown relegated. He's been in top form lately and very good over the ball. With these back row players, I would go with 6. Cusack, 7. Samu, 8. Valetini.
