    R10 Brumbies vs Stormers - 11:05PM

Brown looks like your typical NZ No 7. Always on the ball and a constant threat of making a turnover. Can also carry good as he has a relatively lower centre of gravity.

    R10 Brumbies vs Stormers - 11:05PM

If Poey is back next week, I'd like to see Brown move to 6, Poey at 7 and Samu at 8. When fit, Valetini would come straight back in while McCaffrey and Samu would have a ding dong battle for the No 8 spot.

But played as the open side flanker in the SA formation.

Jahrome Brown MOTM at the game.

Rory has put in the outstanding lock game in each of the past two or three years. He did so again tonight.

    R10 Brumbies vs Stormers - 11:05PM

Deserved penalty try despite the almost comical circus surrounding its awarding. Really think FF (Folau Fainga'a) shouldn't be out there. First lineout throw after the head knock was crooked, and first scrum he didn't (or couldn't) hook. Hopefully, Mann-Rea comes out after the break. Arnold, Brown and Palu...

Rd 10: Waratahs vs Rebels @ SCG, Saturday 20 April

Wow, that was the most uninspiring game from any Aus team for many a long year. Rebels just had one plan which was to kick the ball away and they couldn't even do that with any success. Invariably, the ball was returned with interest. Wessels needs to free Quade up to play his game if he wants...

    Western Force 2019

Is Harry Lloyd switching to TH side or is it just the numbers have been changed? One of the more promising LH props in the country.

Rd 10: Waratahs vs Rebels @ SCG, Saturday 20 April

Just the front row is questionable. Between them Coleman, Philip, Holloway, Jones, Dempsey, Hooper and Naisarani make up an excellent back five.

    R10 Brumbies vs Stormers - 11:05PM

And I am pleased to see Tom Cusack moved to the blind side as well. I don't think it is the strongest back row, without McCaffrey, but players in their rightful positions (by my judgement - :)) is always good to see. If they can hold it together as they mostly did last week, then Brumbies in a...

    R10 Brumbies vs Stormers - 11:05PM

Brumbies will need to be able to counter the Stormers' storming defense. They were on song against the Rebels last week.

Meakes v Hunt as opposing No 12s should be a good match up.

    Un-Australian Activities 2019

WOB, it is noteworthy, at least for the time being, there are four SA conference teams in the 8. And another dropped out this week. To me, that means there will be a lot of change in the teams and the order by the end of the season. The Crusaders are a lock in for the No 1 spot, though.

And leave the world's best No 15, Smith, on the bench.

Super Rugby 2019 Predictions - Aussie Conference

The Crusaders are the only team in the competition playing with real consistency. Before last weekend, the Rebels showed every indication that they too had the required consistency of performance to get to and make a fist of the finals. Now they need to regather themselves and show that they can...

Round 9 Bulls V Reds - Loftus Versfeld, Pretoria

Reg, is that Law 9.12 verbatim? Is it all right to abuse another player during the week? EDIT : What precisely did Stewart do? Or is this all a wind up?

What laws of the game will pertain to the overseas matches? Stay with GRR or revert to WR (World Rugby) laws?

Rd 9: Brumbies vs Lions, Saturday 13 April 7:45pm AEST

Again, inexplicably, we have a SA referee for a game in Australia involving a SA side. It just beggars belief. Raster is essentially a 7s ref and imo not a very good one. He is not a quality 15s ref. Knows next to nothing about rolling mauls and the defensive offences committed by the Lions...
