2019 TV ratings and crowd numbers

These payments to the visiting sides are interesting. Anybody know how much the Jags have to pay the Brumbies? Or is it a set amount of $100k for a semi? Is that enough to cover costs?

Semi Final - Brumbies vs Jaguares, Sat 29 June, 9:05 am (AEST)

I'd go with that side too Roffy, but it might be a 6-2 bench with Douglas in place of Muirhead.

    Brumbies (3rd) v Sharks (6th) - Super Rugby 2019 QF 4

I am continually disappointed with Will G when he refuses to get involved at the breakdown, either to protect his own ball or to put pressure on the opposition. Too many times he simply stands back when he is the closest Rebels/Wallabies player to the tackle but will not get involved. While he's...

    Brumbies 2020

Wrong use of the phrase. Reds fans certainly do rate him, but the majority have him behind Rodda, LSL (Lukhan Salakaia-Loto) and Hockings. May be pushing to get game time if the U20s backrow come good at this level. I have always, and still, rate Blythe a better lock than Hockings and would be extremely happy to see...

Semi Final - Brumbies vs Jaguares, Sat 29 June, 9:05 am (AEST)

Remember, too, that last time the Brumbies were on their way round the world after playing the Stormers in Cape Town the weekend before. They will be fresher for this, but unfortunate there is also a short turn around having to play on Saturday morning our time.

There is that aspect as well Dan.

As it was for anyone who took the time to watch the Brumbies week in and week out.

Frost will need a year or two imo to reach Super standard. Where's Blake Enever? Reds fans don't seem to rate Blythe. Is he available?

Would the first half tonight by Samu change your view Adam?

    Brumbies (3rd) v Sharks (6th) - Super Rugby 2019 QF 4

McCaffrey is an allround footballer and would be comfortable anywhere from 4 to 15.

    Un-Australian Activities 2019

On that showing, I am disappointed the Chiefs lost. I think they would have been the easier side to beat next week, assuming the Brumbies get over the Sharks tonight. The second half in particular was not high quality stuff from the Chiefs.

    Waratahs 2020

Looks to be even younger and less experienced than the Reds this year. Couldn't see that squad improving over this year's results.

    Wallabies 2019 Thread

Must have met the main criterion of not having a plan of his own and will just be there to implement Cheika's attack plan - you know, the non-existent one. Hewat from the Brumbies would have been a 100% better fit if there are likely to be so many Brumbies selected (in my dreams), but he would...

Michael Cheika? Seems he might be looking for a gig next year.

    Brumbies 2020

But still a good example of the short term results of a culture-based, motivational style of coach. His lack of success post 2015 is very likely a direct outcome of his lack of tactical/technical nous.

    Rebels 2020

Maybe Greg Holmes? Anyone know his status? Rebels could certainly use an experienced, good quality prop.

    Brumbies (3rd) v Sharks (6th) - Super Rugby 2019 QF 4

I would prefer to see Valetini at 6 and Samu at 7. but at the very least one, if not both, on the bench in a 6-2 configuration. Too good to miss out altogether. EDIT : Don't mean to denigrate Cusack or Brown in any way. They will do the job, but Valetini and Samu would be my personal preferences.

    Brumbies 2020

During his time as coach of the ACT Vikings in the NRC I was a sceptic of McKellars coaching abilities. He seemed to concentrate almost entirely on a forwards strategy and actually had the rolling maul operating with so much forward momentum that opposition teams just had to shear off to the...

    Proposed Nations Championship

Can't see why WR (World Rugby) should have been prepared to die in the ditch on the question of promotion/relegation. Just get the structure implemented and maybe try to change it in a few years time.
