Slower and less effective than LSL (Lukhan Salakaia-Loto). Yeah, I can really see why his versatility will ensure selection in the RWC squad.

Easily the best rugby brain on Aus tv. Should bring a breath of fresh air to the rather stuffy RA environment.

Similar to my list of a couple of days ago FP. Only differences, Simmons and Jones in the forwards and Foley and AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) in the backs. Lets now see just how far off the mark we both are when Cheika announces his team.

    Reds 2020

LSL (Lukhan Salakaia-Loto)? And Michael Wood who played lock in the U20s but looked more like a hard running No 6 to me.

    Bledisloe II @ Eden Park

Looks like you might miss a good part of the RWC then, John.

I'd like to see something likme the following against Samoa : Slipper, TPN, Tupou, Arnold, Coleman, Valetini, Wright (or Pocock if fit), Naisarani, Powell, To'omua, Beale, O'Connor, Kuridrani, Petaia, Banks. Reserves - Uelese, HJH (Harry Johnson-Holmes) (even though not in the squad), Kepu, LSL (Lukhan Salakaia-Loto), Samu (or Wright)...

I think Spud that the squad has to be finalised before the Samoa test. Could be wrong, but that is my understanding. If so, it highlights the lack of planning and foresight in not giving those players, and others like Valetini, Samu, Philip and Banks some opportunities in earlier matches to...

This is not funny, unfortunately. Beale was a poor performer, Hooper was not even a shadow of Cane, and the less said about AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) the better. The worst of the Tahs performers however was Cheika.

I would suggest that is your loss ACR.

The point is that any tackle/clean out over the shoulder is regarded as high these days, and every player knows this even if some fans don't. Coles was also at fault by grabbing White between the legs, also a penalty/YC offense as dictated by WSR. Add it all together with the fact it was beyond...

And the Wallabies, true to form with Cheika at the helm, resurrect the 90 yo AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) and the consistently ineffectual Simmons to take on the might of the world's best. At least, this will put to bed those wacky Tahs supporters who have already been sprouting Cheika for the next 4 years. He really...

    Loss of Arnold is huge.

But can't run or pass faster or better than me. Shouldn't be anywhere near the Wallabies.

    Wallabies 2019 Thread

All of Swain (Brumbies), Blyth and Hockings (both Reds) have potential Wallabies written over them. Next year they will be about as old and experienced (Super-wise) as Rodda was when he made his debut in national colours. Personally, I don't see any skill level at all where Rob Simmons would...

    Wallabies 2019 Thread

Yeah, saw that and undoubtedly well deserved. A bit tongue in cheek, I was making a comment about the strength of the Reds backrow for next year. LSL (Lukhan Salakaia-Loto) (if not at lock), ASY (Angus Scott-Young), Wright, McReight, Woods as well as Wilson. A couple of Wallabies, and the rest from U20s Wallabies. A lot of competition...

Then there'd presumably be a bench lock. Who's your pick?

Wright and McReight - frightening, isn't it?
  19. Brumby Runner

Exactly, I was looking also at the prospects in the back row as well as the locks.

My apologies. Wilson is an absolute star in the making (assuming he can force his way into the Reds starting side;)).
