Pumas vs Wallabies, 25th July 2015, Mendoza

I think Joe Tomane showed for his try how valuable speed is on the wing. He looked a little lost on defence though, Speight should be injected asap.

Goal kicking is our biggest concern. Some really poor kicks by Foley missing by a large distance.

No it was Hooper to Beale to Foley I believe. Beale positioned himself twice and gave 2 good offloads which led to tries. Give credit where credit is due. He was never tested on defence though. Lucky for us.

Wallabies v. Springboks, 18th July 2015, Suncorp, Brisbane

By that logic you won't ever go for any penalty goals. He took the smart choice at the time. Then when time ran out he went for the win. He seems like a smart Captain to me.

Wallabies v. Springboks, 18th July 2015, Suncorp, Brisbane

He was thinking there was still enough time for a restart and to get back down the other end for another penalty or drop goal - which there was.

Springboks v All Blacks, Ellis Park 25/7/2015

Is this game on free to air in Aus? What time if so?

Pumas vs Wallabies, 25th July 2015, Mendoza

I suspect this team is all about giving game time to some and experimenting with others. I like it because its still strong and will answer a lot of questions: Beale is there for game time and hopefully can play his way out of contention for the world cup. Foley V Cooper - the better...

Pumas vs Wallabies, 25th July 2015, Mendoza

I think I read somewhere Cheika said he was going to play Foley no matter how well, or poor Cooper played, to ensure both had a some game time. So the plan was most likely going to be 10. Foley. 12. Gits to test out combo's. Gits got injured and To'omua deserves a shot given his impact from the...

Wallaby 31 players for 2015 RWC

I have no issues with Hooper defending the 10 channel. He absolutely took De Allende out of the game. A huge attacking threat, and something that strong defenders in To'omua, Lilo and Kuridrani failed to do in the Brumbies quarter final. Cooper and Gits, whilst they make their tackles would...

I agree. I didn't realise they had an advantage.

Opps. I take back everything I said then.

Wallabies v. Springboks, 18th July 2015, Suncorp, Brisbane

I guess "luck" was a poor choice off words. What I was trying to say was the kick was a very low percentage play that required a great amount of skill to pull off - although Willie pulled it off brilliantly kicking straight to Folau isn't a smart move. I don't expect to see too many of...

Wallabies v. Springboks, 18th July 2015, Suncorp, Brisbane

Even worse was that the Bok's weren't committing numbers to the rucks yet they still managed to turn over ball at ease.

Wallabies v. Springboks, 18th July 2015, Suncorp, Brisbane

Did anyone else think Etzebeth try was pure luck? I mean kicking straight to Izzy is certainly not a smart decision. Willie's knock back was great skill but the decision to kick still baffled me.

I'd rather have Hooper and Poey on the field, that it not possible with Skelton. Skelton can come off the bench and provide impact.

Folau Persisting with Cooper - should be much better with Phipps providing quick service and To'omua on his inside. Slipper to be rested. Keep Kepu...

Wallabies v. Springboks, 18th July 2015, Suncorp, Brisbane

So much criticism of the backs. Especially with Gits and Cooper. The biggest issue was breakdown accuracy. The Boks weren't committing players (until poey came on) but they still managed a shit load of turnovers from very poor clean outs by us. Also no go-forward from any of the forwards. I...

Wallabies v. Springboks, 18th July 2015, Suncorp, Brisbane

Question on the scrum. Was it our reserve props who were just that bit better or was it the reserve Bok props that were just that bit worse, or maybe a bit of both. On the plus side of the scrums, even though the Boks looked like they had the edge I was happy at least with the low amount of...

Well Mitchell looked fine. He was strong into contact in his few touches.
