Bledisloe #2 - AUS v NZL, Eden Park, Auckland, August 15th

Yeah its a tough one because I think Mitchell's left boot comes in handy (better boot then AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper)'s) and more game time will do him good to get him up to speed. I think he was slightly off the pace last game (but so was Gits his first game back). Resting AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) and playing Mitchell and Speight would...

Bledisloe #2 - AUS v NZL, Eden Park, Auckland, August 15th

Give AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) his ticket to the RWC, rest him for this game and give Speight a shot - problem solved. AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) has cemented his spot - his defence last game where came off his wing to shut down an over-lap saved us a few times. Tomane has never done this. Combined with his finishing, his good running...

Nonu is in superb form, He will run over Gits (or anyone else) if given space - much more dangerous ball runner then SBW currently. Fast line speed is a must to shut him down, all the more reason for To'omua to start.

    Yes sorry. I meant 10.

If Cooper has proven one thing it's that he doesn't have utility value. He is a 10 and nothing else. His stint at 12 against Argentina proved this and he has no experience in any other position. Cooper to start at 10 or left out, we have far better bench options in Gits/To'omua (if one is not...

Actually you'd have to say To'omua is the best five-eighth for attacking the line now. He actually attacks the line against top opposition, Foley has a habit of going missing.

Bledisloe #2 - AUS v NZL, Eden Park, Auckland, August 15th

We really have 2 games to decide on the halves. But on the positive side the rest of the team is very much set. Forwards should remain the same with the injection of Simmons. We only have the halves to sort out and we got 2 games to do it. Lilo could be thrown into the mix if Quade and/or...

Bledisloe #2 - AUS v NZL, Eden Park, Auckland, August 15th

It's not exactly one bad game and then being dropped. Quade only had one poor game too remember? It's the simply fact that none of the halves have put in a good performances yet. Neither Quade or Foley deserves to be starting over the other - they simply haven't done enough. Gits and...

I don't mind if Phipps gets another shot (and I'm a Brumbies supporter), his speed and tempo is second to none when he isn't throwing wayward passes or giving away silly penalties - but those things can be fixed. I think its time for Foley to be given the boot. I think there are 2 clear...

Bledisloe #1 - AUS v NZL, ANZ Stadium, Sydney, August 8th

I can't wait to see Hooper do one of those low hard driving tackles on SBW, Read, McCaw, Retallick - or any bloody one. They are great to watch! Hopefully Poey will be second man in and get some turnovers from them.

I agree Gits best position is 12 but hasn't he primarily been playing 10 for Toulon since Wilkinson left?

Bledisloe #1 - AUS v NZL, ANZ Stadium, Sydney, August 8th

True. But when he's not half injured and out of breathe he's probably the best kicker. So he can kick for the first 60mins (if his body lasts that long) then someone will have to take over... damn we need a good kicker :(

There is a good chance Cheika is giving each of them a start against the AB's. I'd rather start Cooper in NZ and see how he holds the pressure.

To be fair, Waugh and Smith certainly don't compliment each other as well as Pocock and Hooper. Pocock probably the world best defensive 7 and Hooper one of the world's best attacking 7's. What Hooper lacks (defensive rucks, pilfers) Pocock is master at. What Pocock lacks (ball running...

Don't be bummed. If we lose I'm sure we will answer a lot of questions that will lead to our strongest side. So even if we lose we win (in the long run).

I would have gone for Lilo over Gits too. Hope I can be proved wrong. Although I'm guessing Gits is the best (currently) goal-kicker in the squad.

Is Gits or Foley the goalkicker? Hope its Gits.

I don't think work-rate around tackling will be an issue. Hooper and Pocock often top the tackle counts by a large margin. If they are the guys doing most of the tackling that will give Fardy and Mumm a chance to pilfer - eyes will be on Hooper and Pocock.
