Bledisloe #2 - AUS v NZL, Eden Park, Auckland, August 15th

Can anyone see Cheika doing a sneaky and not starting the 'Pooper'? I mean the AB's will probably be spending all week with tactics to nullify their impact so it would actually be a good idea to come out and play a different tactic - we expect more space out wide since the AB's should be...

Bledisloe #2 - AUS v NZL, Eden Park, Auckland, August 15th

A few times last weekend AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) had to race off his wing to shut down an overlap, I don't think Tomane can do this - he does this thing where he holds off tackling a player and runs backwards marking both until help comes. Ben Smith, Savea and NMS will calve him to shreds.

Wallaby 31 players for 2015 RWC

There already half way there. If they duplicate their previous performances I'd say either one is gone. Also Lilo will still need a solid performance against Japan - which probably won't do him any favours, he seems to the type of player who can step up for big games but also be quiet against...

Bledisloe #2 - AUS v NZL, Eden Park, Auckland, August 15th

I certainly wouldn't be putting any money on selections. Well not on the halves he rest of the team is very much set. Although I'm not sure why Foley would deserve another shot, lots are arguing that he shouldn't be dropped for one bad game - but that argument works for Cooper too - he only...

Bledisloe #2 - AUS v NZL, Eden Park, Auckland, August 15th

I don't think it does anything to team structures starting To'omua and Gits because they've already played that way for 30mins+ and it worked well. It's almost a proven combination (almost). If you want answers into your RWC squad then you would start Cooper. If Foley starts and the result is...

Bledisloe #2 - AUS v NZL, Eden Park, Auckland, August 15th

Perception is crazy. My thoughts are the complete opposite. I think its very likely Cheika will go 10. To'omua 12. Gits - the form players. Small chance Cooper and/or Foley will be given another shot. Goal kicking is also a factor - probably don't want to drop Gits for that reason too.

Bledisloe #2 - AUS v NZL, Eden Park, Auckland, August 15th

I forgot about Mitchell as a 15 option. I'd imagine he would be first back-up for Izzy.

Trying to out kick the AB's is a recipe for disaster. They simply have better kickers then we do.

What the hell do we do if Izzy is out. AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) to 15? That's a huge weakness in our squad, backup 15.

You'd imagine the Smiths, Read, Rettallick coming good. Nonu will make a huge difference in SBW's place. Not sure if Carter is still up to it. Although many of the rest are dangerous players I think they can be outplayed by their counter-parts depending on how we apply ourselves.

Bledisloe #2 - AUS v NZL, Eden Park, Auckland, August 15th

Its a tough call isn't it. I'd think he couldn't drop Gits after that performance (his goal kicking helps too), and likewise To'omua would be in line to start by now. If Cheika does go with 10. Cooper 12 To'omua it is a clear indication he is still in the experimenting stage - which I'm not sure...

Bledisloe #2 - AUS v NZL, Eden Park, Auckland, August 15th

I disagree. I actually have a feeling it was always Cheika's intention to play Cooper in NZ whether Foley played poorly or not. Foley having a shocker just re-enforces that idea. But To'omua and Gits having outstanding games has really thrown a spanner into the mix, and I'd bet Cheika will...

Bledisloe #2 - AUS v NZL, Eden Park, Auckland, August 15th

It only works with Horne and Cooper or Foley. Dropping Gits or To'omua back isn't really going to increase counter-attack that much - and if you got Speight on one wing one of the best counter-attackers then that strategy does nothing. Doubt Cheika will do the same thing if To'omua and Gits...

Bledisloe #2 - AUS v NZL, Eden Park, Auckland, August 15th

Defending in the line should be the last priority. Especially if Foley is dropped. Gits and To'omua can hold there own. On set-piece Hooper will be in the 10-12 channel anyway - this is way more effective then continuing to shift a winger.

Bledisloe #2 - AUS v NZL, Eden Park, Auckland, August 15th

No. You cannot "Rinse and repeat." at this level. The All Blacks wouldn't. Improve every game. Build on what works and change what doesn't. There are A LOT of improvements to be made and I think that starts with the back line.

Bledisloe #2 - AUS v NZL, Eden Park, Auckland, August 15th

I just thought of a crazy idea. Shift AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) to 13 and play Speight on the wing. Kuridrani can sit this one out he's been a bit quiet anyway.

But JOC (James O'Connor) isn't fit and isn't in form.
