Randwick Vs Argentina 7/9 @ Coogee

No comment. Can't say anything good, don't say anything.

    Un-Australian Activities 2019

Yes, that's pretty much how I think they should be approaching Samoa and the early RWC games. Lose to Fiji, and the Cup might be over as early as the Wales game. The Wallabies need to be at full strength and peak fitness for Fiji and Wales, and that probably means a good many of the starters...

NRC Round 2 Melbourne Rising v NSW Country Eagles

Definitely will take an interest in how Nigel Ah Wong goes for NSW Country. Had some good times in the Brumbies a few years ago.

    Un-Australian Activities 2019

OK, I get why NZ and SA are wheeling out the big guns due to the need for game time before playing each other, but I still don't see why the same logic shouldn't apply to the Wallabies. It will be a month, or more, between games for the Wallabies' starting side too and then they come in against...

    Rugby World Cup 2019

And would contribute to a lot more test ready players being left on the shelf in NZ, presumably.

    Western Force 2019

I will be happy to see Harry back with the Brumbies. One of the strongest props going round, I reckon. He certainly did give his all to the Force over the past couple of years. There is a bit of an exodus from the West at the moment. Probably due to so many players here moving overseas next...

NRC Rd 2: Qld Country v Canberra Vikings - Sunday 3pm

Looking forward to the match up between Swain and the combination of Hockings/Blyth. Couple of very fast men out wide in Fittock and Pulu. Could be some burning grass along that sideline. Should be a good, close game.

Sure you're not underestimating Fiji WOB?

NRC Rd 2: Qld Country v Canberra Vikings - Sunday 3pm

Good to see Tom Ross on the bench, though Dobson did a pretty good effort last week.

Wallabies v Samoa, Sat 7th September, 7.30pm, Bankwest (Parra) Stadium

And maybe you're talking through your hat? I think it is fairly well established, from the words out of their own mouths in recent times, that neither Johnson nor O'Connor are exerting themselves over Cheika, but more are working as sounding boards for Cheika's selections. Phipps had a very...

Wallabies v Samoa, Sat 7th September, 7.30pm, Bankwest (Parra) Stadium

Wow, Jack Lam and Lala Lam still both going round? Good memories of Lala at the Brumbies.

    Un-Australian Activities 2019

Unlike the Wallabies, it looks very much like the ABs are going with a full strength team against Tonga. I wonder which approach is likely to yield best results in the RWC?:rolleyes:

    Canberra Vikings 2019

Ryan Lonergan has heaps of potential, but is at least a couple years, maybe more, off displacing Joe. The bigger threat to Joe is Nic White if he returns to the Brumbies as expected, (that is, assuming Cheika who apparently hasn't the time of day for him, leaves the Wallabies' setup at the end...

Wallabies v Samoa, Sat 7th September, 7.30pm, Bankwest (Parra) Stadium

Off the bench. Uni apparently prefer Gordon to Phipps, and SS grand final is hardly good form to be picked for the Wallabies over players who had been in significantly better Super form all year.

Wallabies v Samoa, Sat 7th September, 7.30pm, Bankwest (Parra) Stadium

Totally disappointing rather than interesting, I'd say, BH. Joe is the 2019 version of Nic White 2015.

Yeah, not a priority in some quarters D.:(

    Canberra Vikings 2019

Looks like George will have even more competition for a spot this weekend. Joe Powell ignored by Cheika once again. Can't see why he wouldn't just come home to at least get some game time. I hope he doesn't get disheartened by Cheika's poor treatment of him and decide to take an overseas...

NRC Rnd 1: Melbourne Rising v Canberra Vikings

I think Len is a fantastic player, but Wright put in a quality game for the ages. I think he's probably found his best spot.

Yeah, FP, it is even a drag having to go west of Anzac Parade, isn't it?
