I’m not sure Daugunu’s defence is as much of an issue any more. His problem a few years ago was that he got pushed off far too easily. His power to weight is much better now.

Keen to see Daugunu back out there, but I agree - performing players should get the rewards. Plus it’ll help drive home the message to Daugunu of the cost of giving up your spot through poor discipline.

In terms of standard technique wise he was terrible, but he had his own method and was effective enough that they changed the rules to ban it. That has to count for something.
