Pressure on the Waratahs to make the Finals

The forum was a bollocks to begin with. 120 people really is a piss poor sample group of Waratah fans. Take the bloody thing outdoors and accomodate everybody who cares enough to take the time to attend. The whole thing looked so bloody staged that it was never going to be productive. They...

    Reds v. Crusaders, May 29th, Suncorp - 2011R15

Experience is also on Carter's side. From what I gather, the common denominator between them is just how bloody hard the work off the field on their games. Cooper was hidden again in defence but when I was watching the game again this morning he made some much improved tackles. One that...

    Reds v. Crusaders, May 29th, Suncorp - 2011R15

As you hinted at in your earlier post, these two two teams went so hard at eachother that they forced eachother into uncharateristic errors. Both teams are arguably the best finishers in the comp and the amount of mistakes is a true reflection of just how intense this battle was. A draw in all...

    Wallabies Trinations Squad

Depends on the style and strengths of your 10 I guess. For the record, All the NZ franchises have good inside centres.

    Bulls vs Waratahs, 2011R16

It's their home game Richo. I always thought that was the protocol.

    Reds vs Brumbies, 2011R16

Good point. I forgot all about him.

    Reds v. Crusaders, May 29th, Suncorp - 2011R15

The only refs I want let anywhere near the final are Mark Lawrence, Jaco Peyper or Vinnie Munro. Glen Jackson was good in the Force vs Canes match also. That former players perspective will help him become a bloody dood ref over time. The young fella who reffed the Brumbies vs Force game the...

    Reds vs Brumbies, 2011R16

Shatz at 7 for mine. It is not ideal but he was adequite when required there last year. It would also be great for the bloke to get a start.

    Waratahs 2011

If Vickerman never takes to the field again but managers to fire a rocket up Kane Douglas's arse, his signing will be justified.

    2011 S15R16 Rebels vs Stormers @ Melbourne

It would be a breath of fresh air wouldn't it?

    Bulls vs Waratahs, 2011R16

Although the Tahs got run down in the end I remember them having a mighty crack in this one last year. I don't think the Tahs will do it but they are capable if they come to the game focussed. It is make or break time.

    Reds vs Brumbies, 2011R16

We are on the home run. As poor as the Brumbies have been I feel this could easily be a banana skin game for the Reds. If we take them lightly it may just bite us on the arse. I would love to see the Reds remain focussed and make a statement in this game. Hopefully another big crowd also...

    Wallabies Trinations Squad

he doesn't need to be inspiring in attack. He just needs to be Solid in which he is. We run the risk of having too many chiefs and not enough indians if we have too many inspiring attackers. He will compliment the likes of Quade, JOC (James O'Connor) and Beale in that Wallaby backline.

    Wallabies Trinations Squad

If JOC (James O'Connor) is not playing 12, I wan't Ant playing it. Coopers skill execution and decision making has improved dramatically and when required has filled a conservative role well. This makes Barnes a bit redundant in my view not to mention his skill execution has not been up to par. I would be...

    Wallabies Trinations Squad

28 posts and nothing about Anthony Fainga'a. People keep trying to crap on him but he passed yet another big test last night. The bloke is a must for the tri-nations squad.

Exactly, all they do is unleash Fruen is is even more potent. I am surprised they haven't used SBW as a decoy runner more this year.

    Reds 2011

I heard yesterday that the black arm bands the Reds were wearing in the Crusaders match were for the passing of Jake Shatz's mother. I would just like to express my condolances to Jake and the Shatz family. The bloke is way to young to lose a parent. Chin up mate as you have your team mates...

    Reds v. Crusaders, May 29th, Suncorp - 2011R15

Yep happy birthday Kev. I would love to see the data recorded from those GPS devices that the Saders were wearing under their jersey's.

Our opinion of the game: Worthless and uninformed?

I get what link means about the scrum and with due respect Daz I think it is out of context. In the case of the scrum, experience does outway observation. When I played in the front row I only ever payed respect to the advice given by somebody who had experience. As a junior coach I have had...

    Waratahs 2012

Chris Latham disproves a lot of this argument for me. Regardless of where he was born or where he started, the bloke wore that Reds jersey with immense pride through some of the darkest years of the franchise.
