Was Matt Burke in attendence? I can only judge from what I saw on TV but it seemed like only Drew Mitchell had the balls to speak with some conviction and step away from the company line. It is not a question But a point the Tahs fans should make quite clear is that the Tahs players and...

    S15R14 Blues vs Stormers @ Eden Park - 2011R14

The Blues will get up in this one.

Link: Winning is imperative but it's not everything

Inheriting an already formed squad at the Reds might have helped change his view a bit. The combination of traditional Link and last years flair in the Reds this year I find a good hint he has developed as a coach. I also love that he controls the side on gameday from the bench. Adds a good...

    Brumbies 2012

\ Correct me if I'm wromg but I think Sideshow Bob was recruited in the Mooney era. Great buy none the less.

    Waratah Fan Forum

I don't know but to have a stab in the dark, the impression I get is the Warratahs fans are feeling disrespected by the franchise they support. The off field stuff and the on field stuff have been intertwined when they are probably seperate issues. It doesn't really mattrer how "unattractive"...

    Reds v. Crusaders, May 29th, Suncorp - 2011R15

I think who he is offloading too is a big part of the equation. It was not as effective against the Cheetahs without Fruen outside him. I would also like to see big forwards run at his channel to attempt to tire him. The forwards battle comes before this though.

What will lose the RWC for the Wallabies?

Wow, this thread is so glass half empty. We haven't even seen the first Wallaby squad selected or play this year but somehow we can asses how the Wallabies will lose the RWC? Australian rugby collectivly this Sure 15 has been in a bit of a rutt but scattered out their are some good...

Crusaders vs Chiefs: MATCH THREAD: Napier - 2011R14

Whether they burn out or not, The Crusaders this year are up there with the most inspirational rugby stories I have ever seen. They have my respect.

    Phil 'Hypocrite' Waugh

This whole episode may well be season defining or ending. That was a must win game for the Tahs and he gambled it away. That was the chance for the Tahs to start bridging the gap between them and the Reds and have a serious crack at taking top of the conference knowing the Reds had some tough...

James O'Connor - where will he go?

The smartest thing the QRU has done is look outside of the circle and hire a CEO with experience in another sport, especially AFL. Jim Carmichael is the forgotten savior of the Reds. He came in with a clear prospective and new how to market a product to a wider audience.

Crusaders vs Chiefs: MATCH THREAD: Napier - 2011R14

    My gut says the Chiefs.

NZRU Searches for USA Options, Etc.

When Super Rugby expands, it needs to look at an America's conference. That is not currently feasable but it is a good vision for the future.

James O'Connor - where will he go?

It isn't a case for the national interest either. The Force did what's best for the Force back then and now the Reds must do what's best for the Red's. The Australian franchises are in competition with each other so I don't get all this sharing the love. Just announce it James one way or...

    Brumbies 2012

Sounds like the deadwood is being culled. Deadwood not in a playing sense but in an attitude sense. It has to be a fresh start for The Brumbies under White so getting rid of the players with ties to older days is a good thing. Moore has to be the next captain.

Have you jumped ship Moses? I just noticed the Blues logo at the bottom of your post.

    Reds 2011

When is he signed till? He is being wasted on the bench sadly. I never said this but Jake White should be trying to get him for the Brumbies. Would fix the Alexander at TH issue nicely.

I understand what you are saying but it doesn't explain why the good ones are allowed to slip through the net.

BJ. In your opinion, what are the chances of him being given the latitude to shake things up?

    Waratahs 2011

With respect, does anybody at the Tah's have an eye for talent? It must get right up the noses of Tah fans to see Beau carve it up at QLD when they had him him in their own backyard, did not see a good thing when they had one. Hooper is a product of yours but how did he slip through the net...
