Rugby World Cup. In What Universe

McQueen wouldn't have anyone in the squad who wasn't willing to give 100% in every way. His team ethos was the basis of his success and I can't imagine that QC (Quade Cooper) would have fit in very well. By the same token I am sure that McQueen never publicly singled out one of his players for direct criticism...

    Munster v. Australia

I would like to propose that this game against Munster never be mentioned again on this or any other rugby site. Of course the Munster fans will be harping on about it for decades, and rightly so. That shouldn't be too much of a problem as people don't really listen to what the Micks say outside...

    Wallaby ratings

He was actually pretty decent both at scrumtime and in general play.

    Munster v. Australia

Even if our boys are not so adept at playing in those conditions couldn't someone(Deans and Williams) have told them how to play it? With the wind behind them in the first half it should have been kick to the corners for 40 minutes and build up a decent lead to defend in the second stanza.

Gnostic........I'm on board. Sack Robbie Deans.

    Munster v. Australia

That was just embarrassing. The dirt trackers showed just as little interest in getting stuck in as the test team did against the POMs. Terrible....terrible. You blokes still want Barnes to take Giteaus spot in the test team? Pathetic

    Munster v. Australia

Looking for big games from Simmons, Van, TPN and Higgers. These are the blokes that could stiffen up the Wallaby pack.

    Quade Cooper and Summer Digressions

BBs comments were general but it is only him and QC (Quade Cooper) who have played 5/8 on tour. He is also sending a subtle message. It's hard to understand that he would have an issue with his attitude, or as Deans states "his will", when he is playing at this level.

    Quade Cooper and Summer Digressions

And the pressure is also coming from his team mates with BB saying the bloke on the inside has to turn up. It wouldn't be a bad idea to drop him for the test next week to give him some time to work on his technique.

    Italy vs Wallabies, EOYT 2010

KB (Kurtley Beale) played most of his junior rugby at 10 so he knows how to play there. That pass.........you just can't teach it. Surely it would be easier to develop QCs tackling technique and tell him to forget about trying to strip the ball?? In the mean time stick him on the bench for a test or two...

Do we really need a playmaker @ 12?

Yes, outside Giteau. He could be just the guy to bring some steel back to the Wallaby midfield and help to pave over some of the cracks in QCs defense. He's not getting any quicker but he does know how to get across the advantage line. With Ioane or AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) at 13 it could be just what we need.

Do we really need a playmaker @ 12?

Maybe Morty will be at 12 outside Cipriani for the Rebels and make the move to 12 permanent. That could work much better with Cooper at 10 than it did with Gits there.

Player of the Year: Wallabies v Poms @ Twickers

    Italy vs Wallabies, EOYT 2010

It would be ridiculous to have a 10-12 of Barnes and Fainga'a. It would just negate our biggest strength at present which is creativity and our unpredictable back play. We saw this first hand in the Leicester game. If we have Barnes at 10 then Giteau needs to be at 12. Those long flat accurate...

Wallabies v Poms, EOYT 2010, Twickenham

Take nothing away from England. It was a very balanced and powerful display that will have all the top sides worrying about them for the next 10 months. There has been some disagreement here on the selection of the front row, second row and IC over the past 6 months but that starting side was...

    Gnostic's Player Ratings V England

Wholesale changes in the way of rotation I mean. The side that is selected for France will be what Deans considers his best 22.

    Gnostic's Player Ratings V England

I thought Stephen Moore was about an 8. He was everywhere and showed great intensity. The rest are pretty spot on. The Wallaby rollercoaster continues after staying on the peak for a little longer than usual. Pretty disappointing. However, this was a game England won and deservedly so. It...

Wallabies v Poms, EOYT 2010, Twickenham

Tackling was abysmal. Even AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) let through 1 or 2. There must have been 25-30 missed tackles? They looked like they expected to win without the effort required being put in. Hard to watch. On the other hand England played a great game.....who would have thought? Not our Wallabies for sure...

    Rank our props

So it looks as though we have some pretty handy talent coming through the ranks. Slipper is starting to show his worth and with Dan Palmer, Tilse and Daly improving all the time we have some good back-up to the current props who are still early on in their respective careers. Is it possible...

Wallabies v Poms, EOYT 2010, Twickenham

I think Saia needs a little more experience under his belt and promoting Edmonds to the bench is a good call. No matter what the result is on Saturday we will most likely see a few of the big guns rested for Italy next week. Nice to see Squeeky back on deck!!!
