    who is confirmed to leave?

Burgess offers a bustling 2nd 8 type of game which is very handy to have on the bench. His defense is also top notch for closing out games. He will be the back up scrummie again this year.

Stormers vs Queensland Reds @ Newlands - 2011R08

Great game by the Reds taking it to the Stormers up front and controlling the game perfectly through Genia and Cooper. They have a few strings to their bow this year. Slipper, Horwill and Robinson were immense. Well Done!!!!

    Wallabies world cup squad selection

Slide AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) in at 13 and that looks like it for me. Hard to see them needing Gits in the squad with Cooper, JOC (James O'Connor), Beale and Barnes unless he comes as the 3rd 9.

Stormers vs Queensland Reds @ Newlands - 2011R08

It looked a lot worse than it was and Slipper just stood his ground and went under the ball carrier. The SA commentary team carried on like a couple of old Nancys. Good call.

    The "Finds" of Wallaby EOYT

Possible but unlikely. Palu was in career best form on last years EOYT and was finally playing at a very high level in back to back tests. He is going to be very keen and if fit will add a lot to the Wallaby pack.

    Barbarians vs South Africa, Twickenham

    hehehe :lmao::yay:lmao:

    James Slipper

Hopefully the ARU can now see sense and try and bring Foley back into the fold after the Super season. Vicks will not be there till the end but I guess Mumm will keep his spot warm.

    De-runting the backline

Both Mitchell and JOC (James O'Connor) have had their moments this year, and Turner as well when he has had the opportunity. Ioane can play at 13 or on the wing and will be in the squad. No doubt there will be an injury concern or two during the next 12 months and we have some great depth in our backs division...

    Giteau Spitting Dummy again???

Yes he was world class in his prime and considered the worlds best 12 and 10 at times. That article is speculative bullshit and almost as unpalatable as Gnostics rancid hatred of Matt Giteau. He still has a big part to play in our RWC campaign next year.

    France vs Wallabies, EOYT 2010

I hope you are right. They need to take a leaf out of the Boks book and front up physically.

and I reckon we are undercooked

Top 10 Scrummaging Nations in the World

That's a bit scary as most rate the Frogs at 1 or 2 and us a long way South of that. So by legal means, maniplulation or whichever means we should be reamed in the scrum on Saturday? We never really get done by the French too badly at scrumtime.....at least up until now. Why is that?
  13. Joe Blow

    Wallabies 1-8, 16-19

He may well like LH but it could cost him a starting spot at the RWC after how it has gone this year. Admittedly he was injured but playing on the other side all year didn't help his TH play at all. The selectors may actually choose to reward the best performed Super THs next year and go with...

    Wallabies 9-15 20-22

Beale was a 10 throughout his school boy career and it was in this position that he was noticed as a young boy. He will end up closer to the action sooner or later.

    Wallabies 9-15 20-22

If Morty could make it back it would complete the backline and shore up the goal kicking ability. I reclon he has one big year left in him.

    Wallabies 9-15 20-22

Agreed. Beale and O'Connor have both shown they have the head for goal kicking and with more experience will only get better. Both have come through already under enormous pressure. QC (Quade Cooper) could be there as the 3rd back up.

    Wallabies 9-15 20-22

    Why not? 9.Genia 10.QC (Quade Cooper) 11.Mitchell 12.Beale 13.Chambers 14.Ioane 15.AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) 20.Burgess 21.Giteau 22.JOC (James O'Connor)
  18. Joe Blow

    Wallabies 1-8, 16-19

Slipper is a fast improving LH who can play TH at a pinch. Hopefully Alexander will gain strength and find form over the course of Super rugby next year but unfortunately he will probably be playing LH at the Brumbies. The other options at TH are Maafu and Big Al. It's a shame Deans did not go...

Player of the match - Wallabies v Italy

3.Elsom 2.Moore 1.Barnes (purely for an excellent goal kicking display) Barnes made some errors in other parts of the game and was predisposed to kicking whenever possible but deserves another chance next week against France. Rockys best game for yonks!

    Quade Cooper and Summer Digressions

You can take the boy out of NZ, but you can't............you know how it goes.
