    Scrum - Wallabies Vs Wales

I agree that we are just the armchair experts and the players and the coaches have a much better idea about what is actually going on in the scrum. However, it's not as simple as "they are trying their best and will probably work it out" or "we just don't have the cattle". We had 4 very...

    Scrum - Wallabies Vs Wales

Slipper has looked far superior on the LH side. He has been serviceable at TH when needed but has actually improved our scrum considerably on the other side, his preferred I would guess. Seeing that he is starting tomorrow I doubt we will see him start against the Poms. It would be good to see...

    Scrum - Wallabies Vs Wales

The only person after Deans head right now is Gnostic. We all should really be after Noriegas head. What do they do in training? Shouldn't they be continually trying to improve the scrumming of the whole squad and not wait for us to be humiliated in a test or two before trying to patch up the...

    TPN being flown to Europe

Edmunds is a good impact bench player. In the last quarter of a match when substitutions are being made by both sides any scrum advantage is often negated. Fainga'a should never have been picked. We needed another hooker capable of starting a test and the mid week games would have been perfect...

    Scrum - Wallabies Vs Wales

It's something that needs constant work. The Wallabies only seem to focus on improving that part of their game after a year or so of constant humiliation. If my calculations are correct we should be peaking around about RWC 2011 time.......carry on.

Wales vs Australia, EOYT 2010, Millenium Stadium

We need a little honesty here boys..... Our scrum got unmercifully slayed by a big but not top line 8. What happened? I notice the Black scrum also was done in by the Poms, but not to the same low level that the Wobs got smashed. What has Noriega been doing with these blokes? Fainga'a and...

    Wallabies v Leicester Tigers

If it is televised live in any shape or form in any part of the world it will be available on line. Most of the links pop up at or around kick-off. I'll post them as I see them.

Gits is due a big game and he has done very well against Wales in the past. Agreed. This tour could really give him his confidence back, particularly if the Wallabies can rack up a few good wins on the run. Is that what we need only for him to fall down against the ABs next year when it...

    Wallabies unchanged. Giteau survives again!

Surely he is just playing games. The Welsh cannot rely on a tight forward oriented game to beat these Wallabies. The All Blacks and Boks couldn't and both are much stronger than the Welsh up front.. If Wales are going to get an unlikely upset they will need to score a lot of points.

Better to keep the tight 5 together from last week to improve the scrum for the next test against the Poms. It would be nice to see Higgers and Simmons on the bench. Maybe Davies as well. We need a dominant display up front to start the European leg of the tour.

    Gits quits

I would not be surprised to see him completely destroy Wales on Saturday with the pressure of goal kicking gone. He is one of the highest try scoring Wallabies of all time behind a couple of back 3 players. Don't write him off just yet.

    Gits quits

I would not question him being dropped to the bench because of his current form. The point is that he is not a selector. He is chosen in the greater squad, fronts up and puts his best foot forward and in turn is then chosen in the starting side. Then other people choose him as the first...

    Gits quits

"He's still a mediocre 12". He wasn't mediocre when he was playing in between Larkham and Morty. He wasn't mediocre when he tore Wales a new one last year and the ARU and most fans didn't think he was mediocre when he was about to jump ship and head to France. He wasn't mediocre when he...

    Gits quits

‘‘It was 100 per cent my decision,’’ Giteau said. ‘‘I just thought that while I was trialling a new goal-kicking technique, it wasn’t best to trial it in Test matches. I didn’t want to jeopardise the team.’’ Advertisement: Story continues below Giteau said he would keep working on his...

There wasn't anything in it but Quade needs to tone it down a bit and worry more about his own game. Hopefully Rocky schooled him in the sheds after the game.
