    Rebels 2020

Well, I think it might have meant a lot to the Brumbies if not the Rebels. If I'm not mistaken, one win over the Rebels would (might) have secured second spot on the ladder and hence a home semi. What could've been.

    Broadcast options for Australian Rugby

I would be a nix on that front Derpus. I have not got one iota of interest in EPL, FFA or any other football code anywhere in the world, outside of rugby. My other sporting interests lie particularly with Cricket, UCI cycling, MotoGP and the Dakar Rally. Between them all, I really need access to...

    Super Rugby Rd2 2020: Brumbies v Rebels

Sure I've seen it used in some of the Belgium road racing classics.

    Wallabies 2020

According to Doran, Noah L has aged two years since the 2019 U20s while Will Harrison should have turned out for last year's U20s as he is still only 20 now. Basic errors. Not the only ones.

    Aussie Player Exodus

Looking further afield, the arguably best performing Lock in the NRC was Fergus Lee-Warner at the Force. He consistently performed as good as, or better than, the likes of Enever, Hockings and Blyth etc. Maybe there is potential to test RA's good intentions about the Force and see how he could...

Super Rugby Rnd 1 2020: Brumbies v Reds

Not used to being dominated at set piece perhaps Gel. Couldn't use the scrum, in particular, to win penalties and subsequently put the ball deep into the Reds territory where they could set up the Maul?

    Sydney 7's 2020

And it's not even the rugby that gets the crowds in for a year or two. It is the party atmosphere and that soon goes stale.

Super Rugby Rnd 1 2020: Brumbies v Reds

Reg, box kicks are one of my per hates in the game. I reckon it is better to put the ball long from your own danger area and work hard to have a good chase. That all means that I think box kicking is the last measure of how good a No 9 has played. Having said that, though, I maintain that Joe...

Super Rugby Rnd 1 2020: Sunwolves v Rebels

Would have killed rugby in two cities. Nose and face come to mind.

    Sydney 7's 2020

7s is a poor version of rugby. Only thing it has going for it is the Olympics.

    Wallabies 2020

Personally, I'd have all of Rodda, Hockings, Swain, Philip (despite his lacklustre showing against the Sumwolves) ahead of Rob S. But I'm also pretty sure that Rennie has an eye on bringing back the likes of Skelton, Arnold and Coleman which most certainly would leave Simmo well and truly on the...

    Western Force 2020

Full on hyperbole there Show. Force easily won the NRC last year and any of those beaten sides would trounce Sydney Uni. Force, admittedly, have lost quite a few of their better players this year, but they seem to have good development programs and an excellent coach in Sampson.

    Wallabies 2020

Samu missed the Wallabies due to pettiness by the coach. I think there will be some significant personnel changes in the Wallabies this year and next. My early predictions of long term players missing out are, Simmons, Hanigan, To'omua, Hodge, Kuridrani, Speight, Beale, and maybe Dempsey and...

Barb, was good to see MH winning turnover ball at the breakdown. Maybe he will be a No 7 again someday.

Doesn't seem to equate with your observation about the respective kicking abilities of Powell and McDermott, Reg.

Super Rugby Rnd 1 2020: Brumbies v Reds

Pretty much agree on every comment Dru. I will reassure you though that I have exactly the same opinion of Joe Powell. He is super quick (last week ran down a rampaging Koroibete - which other No 9 can lay claim to that?), has excellent defense, both front on and in cover, and probably the best...

    Sydney 7's 2020

It's insane 38 degrees at Baulkham Hills at 8 o'clock and it felt relatively cooler after hitting 47 during the afternoon.

    Wallabies 2020

Two years down the track, Hooper won't be there and Wright will be battling McReight for the No 7 spot. Why would the coach have sacked the captain otherwise?

    Wallabies 2020

A lot of crystal ball gazing. But one thing is certain, Bell will need to learn how to scrummage befor ehe can make it into any rep side. As Nutta (I think) says, meat and potato before gravy. Bell has no meat or potato at all yet in scrums. He is a dish full of gravy atm.

    Reds 2020

It's certainly not my recollection either Dru. As for Lucas, I can't agree more that he should be persevered with for a reasonable period before bringing out the guns. I also agree with Roberts Rugby that Keunzle will probably finish up as the Brumbies long term No 10.
