I think that the Lloyd McDermott squad do a really good job at schoolboy level. The major issue I see is when boys leave school there is no focused pathway for Indigenous players.

I am really looking forward to seeing Joseph Tomane playing rugby again. Was a schoolboy star and had some good involvements with the Titans. I think he will offer more at 13 that McCabe in the long run.

My understanding is that he spent quite a bit of time in Perth growing up. Surely he would be seen as a foreign development player at worst if not a local.

So he is still over achieving. I wouldn't pick him in a 4th grade team.

Murday would be a good pick up. After time with the Force and playing back in Brisbane I think he is ready to step up to super level. I've always loved watching him play since he ran around for BGS as a stringbean.
