Wallabies v England, Sat 11th June, 8.00pm, Suncorp Brisbane

I agree to an extent. I'm betting it will be Simmons and Horwill picked. I highly doubt he will start Skleton as he is in poor form and that would hinder the line-out further, so that would also require Cheika to abandon the 'pooper'. Skelton could easily be 1st choice bench option as he offers...

Wallabies v England, Sat 11th June, 8.00pm, Suncorp Brisbane

Agreed. What got Carter on the wallabies radar in the first place was his workrate and low error rate. I think he was the dominate force in the stats on his breakout year. Although he has experience now I certainly don't see him as the was safe-as-houses player he was a few year ago. And he...

Nah I don't think so. He has signed with the Reds so he will remain an option for next year. And if he isn't picked, logistically it won't affect him at all. Horwill and Kepu you'd think will certainly be in the 23 given they will have to fly back to Europe.

I did not know that! Damn.

100% true. Probably the most important player right now given injuries to To'omua and Gits. Lilo isn't in great form and it would be a huge task for him to run the backline and kick the goals. Cooper isn't eligible and even if he was if he is anything like this RWC form then we are better off...

Great to see some young fullbacks with promise coming through. Along with DHP.

    Is Foley injured or something?

Or maybe their improvement is due to Jake White. Given that is when they were both playing their best, especially Lilo. Lilo hasn't come close to his 2012 form. Last 2 years have been mostly average IMO. I'm still not sold on Larkham as a coach, especially as attack coach. Love him as a...

Wallabies v England, Sat 11th June, 8.00pm, Suncorp Brisbane

Correct me if I am wrong but I'm not sure their set-piece form is as good as it was last year? The Brumbies scrum hasn't been as good. I think England are capable of lifting their set-peice... whereas we are probably at our ceiling. I guess I'm still worried about the scrum... Although we...

    Waratahs 2016

The game I saw - I believe it was against the Crusaders Kellaway didn't look assured in the back. Pretty sure they scored a direct try off a bomb that was kicked straight to him but regathered easily by the Crusaders. Their bombs were effective that game. That wouldn't happen with Izzy at...

A seven who works his arse off - like Pocock, Hooper, Gill, Hodgeson, McMahon. Cane who probably be in the middle of these guys if ranked by impact and workrate. I don't disagree he is not Test standard but I don't think he is anywhere near a future AB Captain like he has been hyped to be. I'd...

    2018 he will be wrecked.

    A. Savea > Cane. Savea is so dynamic. I recall he outplayed Pocock in both Brumbies V Hurricanes games last year. Can't believe they didn't pick him for RWC15. I hope they continue to pick Cane. He is over-rated, as least compared to our sevens.

It wouldn't be smart to bring on your bench before half-time given the risk of injuries. Therefore it's safe to assume Powell will get less then 40mins of game time.

I understand his selection for the wallabies. Potential. Now I'm confused why he isn't starting for the Brumbies this weekend by the wallabies attack coach - who has identified him as being a future wallaby. What is the point of starting Dowsett? So the wallabies attack coach doesn't think...

So Powell is in the wallabies squad. Which makes him 3rd choice halfback in Aus. But Dowsett is starting ahead of him in the Brumbies game this weekend. Which makes Powell third string Brumbies halfback. And the Brumbies are coached by the wallabies attack coach - Larkham. I'm so confused...
