Wallabies v England, Sat 11th June, 8.00pm, Suncorp Brisbane

I heard To'omua has joined the squad. He could be a potential starter by the time the Rugby Championship come along. That would a hard choice between Lilo and To'omua.
  2. Viking

Wallabies v England, Sat 11th June, 8.00pm, Suncorp Brisbane

Yes. He could potentially take Kuridrani's spot at 13.

    Reds 2017

That's a bloody good forward pack, experienced and strong. Backline could do with some upgrades and the form of QC (Quade Cooper) will be integral.

Wallabies v England, Sat 11th June, 8.00pm, Suncorp Brisbane

I think it's also a bit of a Kerevi V Kuridrani test for the 13 jersey. As i think ultimately Cheika will go back to the two play-making 10/12 backline in future tests - well depending how this test goes. But I wouldn't be surprised if Kuridrani has a slow game and Kerevi a dangerous one to...

What a great signing. Smith will add a wealth of experience, he is playing some great rugby now too! He might be 36 but I think he's still up to it. Didn't he win Euro player of the year? Even if I'm wrong he will be very good off the bench for the last 20mins of games, whilst mentoring the...

NOOOOOO SMITH... COME BACK TO THE BRUMBIES :(

Wallabies v England, Sat 11th June, 8.00pm, Suncorp Brisbane

I disagree here. This is one area I think he consistently is over-rated. I think their is a big difference with intensity-into-contact and strength-into-contact. He hands down has the most intensity. Seems to consistently play up a weight with every contact. If he goes into contact with a...

Wallabies v England, Sat 11th June, 8.00pm, Suncorp Brisbane

As an impact player I think he adds more. He will up the intensity when he comes on. McCalman is really the only other option you have in an 8, he isn't exactly renowned for his intensity. As a starter McCalman certainly has a strong claim but as a finisher I'd go with McMahon - we like madman...
  9. Viking

Wallabies v England, Sat 11th June, 8.00pm, Suncorp Brisbane

I think a lot will be based around 2 or 3 factors: 1. How effective is Pocock - he can potentially be ref'd out of the game with strict breakdown interpretations - in that case McMahon will straight swap. 2. How our line-out is operating - If we are losing the ball every second line-out that...

Wallabies v England, Sat 11th June, 8.00pm, Suncorp Brisbane

I'm picking a big year from McMahon. The guy has been in the set-up for a couple years now with a few solid games under his belt. Can't argue the guy doesn't play with heart - one of the hardest workers in the team. I think he will be hitting his straps at Test level soon as his body naturally...

    THE K-TRAINNNNNNN!!!!
  12. Viking

Wallabies v England, Sat 11th June, 8.00pm, Suncorp Brisbane

I don't care what the scoreboard was, i still remember it being a shocker from him. Poor passes and Cory Jane exposing him easily at the back with high balls. I think it took some time for JOC (James O'Connor) to recover confidence after this game.
  13. Viking

Wallabies v England, Sat 11th June, 8.00pm, Suncorp Brisbane

Against a poor italy team. I think that was from the bench too. His first start against the All Blacks at fullback was a complete shocker. Folau had the greatest debut against the B&I Lions. That was a bloody great test from him even though we lost.

Wallabies v England, Sat 11th June, 8.00pm, Suncorp Brisbane

Mumm's inclusions I think is the main confusion for most poster's. But overall I think most posters are excited as hell. I know I am.

Wallabies v England, Sat 11th June, 8.00pm, Suncorp Brisbane

A great organiser on his inside like Lilo would be a big help. I hope Foley can fill in a similar role - I'm sure he will with Larkham's guidance.

Wallabies v England, Sat 11th June, 8.00pm, Suncorp Brisbane

If Cheika decides to go back to the 2 playmaker system in the future then i'd imagine this is also a Kuridrani V Kerevi test for the future 13 jersey. A great squad. Looking forward to it.

Wallabies v England, Sat 11th June, 8.00pm, Suncorp Brisbane

Hodge on the wing would be a huge surprise especially with 3 specialist back three players in DHP, Morahan and Naya.
  18. Viking

Wallabies v England, Sat 11th June, 8.00pm, Suncorp Brisbane

I have a feeling Lilo will still make the bench even without training with the squad. If that doesn't happen then Reece Hodge or Hunt will have to be back-up, which is a huge worry.
  19. Viking

Wallabies v England, Sat 11th June, 8.00pm, Suncorp Brisbane

I meant Brown not White in their back-three. He is a world-class fullback.
  20. Viking

Wallabies v England, Sat 11th June, 8.00pm, Suncorp Brisbane

Am I the only one still worried about our scrum? England traditionally strong in this area and our win over them in RWC was hyped up so much - when in reality they won a few scrum penalties early on and it wasn't until our reverses came on that we completely dominated. And line-out. Always a...
