    Wallabies 2023

I’m thinking Kerevi was taking over some of Quade’s kicking duties too to lighten Noah’s load a touch. As you said, it was clearly the game plan, and Kerevi executed it decently.

Looks like they’ve had LR for the last few years, but the deal must’ve changed when the Wallabies contract was renewed this year. BMW has sponsored in the past too it seems, but I can’t recall them having a broader Wallabies deal. Apart from those two it seems like it’s been pretty bare - as...

    Refereeing decisions

By how this footnote read to me, the specified Laws constitute a red, even for a low-end offence. Anyone fluent in Lawyer got a different translation?

Camera angles can be deceptive, but the physics of it isn't open to interpretation. Gif 1: Hill's head jerks slightly to his right when contact is made - if it was whiplash due to the force of shoulder contact, you would assume Hill's head leans left towards Swain. Gif 2: As above; I think you...

This is the angle that shows contact was made - hard to show in a still obviously, but Hill's head/hair clearly move in a way that would suggest force coming from Swain's direction

I'm not sure you can draw many parallels with Kolisi's due to the very different circumstances: in a live ruck using a flailing action as opposed to well off the ball and with clear intent to strike. Swain obviously provoked, but no excuse for striking. Will rightfully cop a ban, and can only...

Going full conspiracy mode here, but do Fox have insight into who/what triggers the +2 on the Stan/9 deal and think they have a shot at getting the rights back post 23? There's obviously a belief that a new Aus-only comp would do numbers, plus home mens and womens World Cups to sweeten the deal.

If I remember correctly, for Arundell's first try, the defensive line was missing most of the forwards who had fallen in a heap at the previous line out. As you said, the guy will likely go on to good things, but I wouldn't be reading into two very opportunistic tries as though he's going to...

Yeah Stan are doing good things. They showed the Banks break a few too many times for my liking though. I would’ve thought they’d cut away after the first front-on angle, once they realised how serious it was.

    Time for JOC (James O'Connor)

Champ, righto bud! Hair pulling is a yellow with possible ban; a headbutt is a red. Doesn’t matter what you think, those are the facts.

Letter of the law the referee is spot on. If you’ve got an issue with it, direct it to the right place, not the bloke doing his job.

Looked like a pretty heavy concussion - I wouldn’t say the odds are in his favour

Yeah, god forbid a winger contest a high ball!

It was borderline but I think the right call was made - the hand was solidly on the shoulder as opposed to putting pressure on the neck
