    How are World Cups won?

Why does the most attacking fly-half = the most attacking team. People seem to forget that forwards are pretty good on attack as well (ask Jason Rutledge) and that's where the Wallabies will struggle most. Hard to attack when your forwards are getting smashed all day.

    Ashley-Cooper will be a Waratah

I think they can manage without AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) but no so much with Gits. It's hard to believe that re-signing AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) wasn't at least partly behind Friend's firing - that worked out well huh?

    Brumbies vs Highlanders - 2011R08

The Brumbies look like they're playing with no confidence. There seems to be some self-doubt lurking around in the backs of their minds which is just stopping them from 'clicking'.....thought they were pretty good last night and apart from his goal kicking - Gits looked good too.

    Lions v Reds - 2011R07

Bahahahaha....yeah - SBW isn't used to playing against hard-hitters....who do you think will be more nervous the night before the Saders/Reds game? SBW of Faainga?

    Waratahs vs Chiefs - 2011R07

What a horrible game to watch I thought. Esp as I was going for the Chiefs. Here's my $0.02 1. I really like Beale at 10. With more time there he could be the most devastating 10 in the world. (Wow....just re-read that and still believe it - especially if he's behind a good forward pack). 2...

    Pat Lam

he's not great but he's not terrible either - he'll hold his own but I don't think I've ever seen him dominate his opponent

    G&GR Fantasy Super Rugby 2011

Looks like not too bad a week...Fantasy Cup I'm up over my guy 298 points to 50....and I stuffed up with having Bekhuis start over Ross.....I hate how the 'Transfers' page isn't laid out the same as the 'My team' page.....gets me confused with what I'm doing week to week sometimes...

    Wallaby Outside Centre

That whole segment was pretty rubbish IMO....AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) is out of form pure and simple.....the Rugby Club guys just over-analysed and talked some straight-up bollocks for about 5min...

    Force v Rebels - 2011R07

    True....cutting it pretty fine though....especially for a 3rd stringer......just take Rutledge I say

    Force v Rebels - 2011R07

That'll explain where he got that nice step from....playing touch on the road under the street lights with the kids of the neighbouring Mongrel Mob and Killer Bee families till about 1am every summer night.... If the NZRU won't look at Hayman and Evans because they don't play in NZ...

John I Dent Cup - Canberra Competition -

Tom Tuivaiti will be the find of the year for the Vikings.....there's my bold prediction for the year....lol

    Lions v Reds - 2011R07

They still haven't really been tested by a quality opposition yet. They put up big scores against two teams - one that is brand new to the comp and the other has only a handful of wins in it's entire history - got smoked by the Tahs and out-kicked a Brumbies team that is in total...

Why not TPN for next Wallaby Captain? What an inspiration

TPN could be the singularly most important player for the Wallabies come RWC IMO. You've got all the razzle dazzle you need out in the backs but without TPN, I think forwards look soft. TPN and Pocock.

    Rugby - not set pieces

I don't think any of these guys played any rugby at any meaningful level in NZ - all league converts. I reckon most of the guys named so far (apart from Waldrom....and maybe Vaiikolo) would strggle to cement a starting spot in a Super Rugby team in NZ....but they're considered good enough to...

    G&GR Fantasy Super Rugby 2011

OK....finally learnt my lesson and waited till Fri to finalise my team (and hence don't have Kaino in the line-up)...hopefully this week is better than last. Got rid of Woodcock - despite being a beloved Blues player, he's apparently the most penalised prop in the competition. Sold Julian Savea...
