418 points....didn't lose any ground in the GR&G league and actually went up 2 spots so not too bad considering I was gonna be happy with not going down by a lot.....and now I'm sitting in a pretty good spot for my transfers over the next few wekks - and still to play my Wildcard!! Bring it on!!

Hmmmmm......I don't know that technique is your problem. I'd say it's more the 'mongrel' aspect or the mentality of hard-bastard-ness of physical forward play that seems to be missing in Aussie.

I don't know that the pick and drive 5m out is necessarily set-up to score from as opposed to just trying to pull defenders in to create more space outside. Of course if you do score then that's great but I'd say very few forwards take that pick and go with the expectation of really scoring.

On a slight tangent - I was thinking that the IRB should really drop the 7's from the eligibility teams that can disqualify a player from playing 15's for another country. I know in NZ's case, some of the 7's guys can't pick up Super contracts let alone AB call-ups - who cares if they play...
