It was a good plan by the Blues but more skill in this case. Most of their bloody team including the forwards run with pace, step, and offload better then most australian backs. For example, just compare the difference with ball in hand Fardy has to the blues backrower.

Godwin is a great signing, probably the best replacement for To'omua we could have hoped for. A.Fainga will add depth but I very much doubt he'll get a lot of game time. Is A.Smith signed for next year? He's a great back-up for Kuridrani - provided he is anywhere near his old form.

We should win this easily, but that's what i said 2-3 years ago when they ended up beating us in the final round which meant we didn't make the finals. Brumbies have a history of starting the season well but ending it poorly. Although having a full strength 9-10-12 is a big plus...

Douglas actually looked pretty good in his cameo, I was doubtful he would be a strong contender for the RC, i think he will at least make the bench now. I hope your right about Skelton, although I think we may see him on the bench for a few games.
