    strategies for the tri nations

What I love is that Genia, Cooper, Horwill, A Finger, Samo all believe they are the favourites for 3Ns and Bled and ultimately WC glory. I'm sure I heard them say it, and put it down to the Reds win also. Yep very sure they've said it and tweeting to the tweeps about it too. I wish them luck...

    strategies for the tri nations

As a young 'un Joe Stanley was my favorite player and a guy that I thought brought a combination if hardness and reliability to the AB midfield. I guess even when Bunce came on the scene a year or so later and made the AB 13 jersey his own, I still thought Smokin was a better player. 88...

SupeRugby Final 2011: Queensland Reds V Canterbury Crusaders

And had Brad Thorn passed. That was shocking play by Thorn IMO. Four guys on his outside with one defender that was coming in. Oh well, shoulda coulda woulda....

The case for Anthony Fainga'a to wear the Green and Gold

Still think AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) is the best 12, while Rabbit still develops his test game. Plus the Beale/Rabbit combo at the back is very good. AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) at 12 and either Horne or Diggers at 13.

    All Blacks Squad

With the wingers, it should be noted that Toeava and Kahui have played a good deal of their AB rugby on the wings.

I though Tapuai was good also. Reminded me of a young Aaron Mauger out there. The young tackling, gap finding Aaron Mauger that is :)

    Congrats Queensland!

Congrats to the Reds franchise and all their fans and ring-ins. Hung tough and walked away with (ugly) trophy. Disappointed to lose, but quietly proud of the Crusader team and making the final after an indifferent year.

SupeRugby Final 2011: Queensland Reds V Canterbury Crusaders

Thanks Marto...zzzzzzzz Here's a couple to add to your repertoire, Horwill about 4 times playing with the ball while on the deck - I guess he's building nicely, A Finger for all his good work likes to just lie on players after he tackles - he's well above board is young Ant, Samo is a an old...

Well said Godfrey, who cares about the reffing. I was however waiting for Bryce to hand us the win given all the research I've been reading over the week on "non-neutral" refs :)

McCaw's played what 6-7 games, he'll keep building I think. I still think his tackling and cover across the park was superb

Well done to the Reds. Capped off a great year with the chocolates. IMO it was a scrappy game from both sides, and that's not a reflection of the Ref. Both sides were feeling the pressure out there. Both sides were guilty of trying too much, pushing the play, but on the other hand both teams...

    Reds Saders.. Pick the Result

96-19 to the good guys and rugby will be the winner on the night :) I actually thought the Stormers would win last week, even though as a fan you're always hopeful your team can do the business. My support for tue Saders is not like my support for the ABs (where I expect the ABs to win every...

Has anyone posted the teams yet, here they are if you haven't seen. Crusaders: Tom Marshall, Sean Maitland, Robbie Fruean, Sonny Bill Williams, Zac Guildford, Dan Carter, Andy Ellis/Kahn Fotuali'i, Kieran Read, Richie McCaw (capt), George Whitelock, Sam Whitelock, Brad Thorn, Owen Franks...

Every good Aussie rugby team needs a couple of NZ born players..... I'll take that daz :)

Quade Cooper the best playmaker in either code - Ricky Stuart

He could always switch to League and play for the WC winning Kiwis :) Do the Brad Thorn reverse...

I'd be interested in what you base that on Charger? From what I've seen of Blackadder's tactics in defense this year is that they've remained fairly consistent against all teams. Hit the line hard at the player with ball in hand (whether it be a fattie or a back), one high and one low, put...

born down on the South Coast, so there's the NSW eligibility I guess.

Blue flu it.... Otherwise, organise a mate to call you during the show, act like it's your boss and "have to take the call" and obviously calls from the boss take at least an hour giving you a chance to find the closest pub to watch at least part of the game.
