Gits has a better boot then To'omua and combines better with Foley, kicking-wise. To'omua was barely even used during the England Test, whereas I think Gits gets himself into position to clearance kick more often which takes pressure off Foley. Plus I think Gits is more vocal in organising the...

    The Rugby Championship 2016

I think this was a case. But I don't think it reflects Cheika not wanting them. I think it reflects Euro clubs putting pressure on players to go overseas and Cheika and the players reluctantly accepting to avoid any tension with new clubs. Gits on the other hand: "F$*K it I'm playing for the...

I saw a video on Facebook with Mitchell and Gits. Mitchell said he wasn't ready for hill sprints yet which to me indicates he's not back to full fitness. I hope this is not the case.

Got no issues with those 3 missing out. Wish Morahan got a shot already given his pace would come in handy, but we already have DHP there and he's proven his worth. Huge debut for Robertson on the cards. I think too much too soon but hope he goes well.

I was going to upgrade my jersey this year... but then I saw it and thought I'd be better off waiting till next year. Horrible T-Shirt designs.

    Reds 2017

The Reds just need to insert a clause into the contract that he must start boxing again, last time that improved his performance on the field ;)

True, but what frustrates me is that he seems to think anyone can play like that. For example telling Simmons, Carter, McMahon, Fardy to run like Potegieter. I'm sorry but they just ain't that type of player and don't have they type of athletic body and/or aggression.

Great post mst. I doubt private equity would, it's simply not directly profitable enough. I'm sure they have been posting losses for the last couple of years. I say "directly" because they don't profit from economic increases which large sporting events can provide. Like the increased beer...

I disagree. I think the poker machine decision is central. Canberra casino is a piece of crap, no-one goes there, not even with the refurbishments. I can't imagine it being a hugely profitable business. Poker machines is a game changer and will ultimately be a drawcard that changes a failing...

I think Cheika has done an amazing job with the culture of the squad but I also very much doubt his strategic abilities. A complete lack of adaptability and variation.

Timani could play 6 and I like the idea of McCalman there too.

I think so too. But not in the short term as I think both are returning from injury. But by the end of the test season i think Douglas and Simmons will come good. I also like the look of Coleman, they are all just a pace behind where we want them to be. Someones got to step up surely.

Depends how you use your bench: 16.LHP 17.Hooker 18.THP 19. Lock 20. Backrower 21. Impact player or extra cover- A Skelton type player could fit here. 22. Halfback 23. Backs cover Agreed. Can't believe fitness is an issue for these top class players, especially for only 60mins.

Absolutely, I bet Cheika will go with Toby. When blooding new props at Test level it's probably better to do it a little late then a little too early. Unless they are just freaks at scrummaging - which none are.

You'd think Slipper would certainly have the edge over Sio this year then given Sio had those scrummaging issues in the England Test. So I'd say Slipper is slightly more consisitant in the scrummaging department. Either way they are both good. Happy with both of them. Lock however...

How many players are recently returning form injury: Simmons Douglas Gits McCalman? Not sure about this one? Genia Mitchell I always feel it can take a lot of time for players returning from injury, especially large ones to regain form, sometimes they never do. Douglas looks to be on track...

Really? Sio is a much more damaging runner, whereas Slipper is more mobile. I've always favoured Sio around the park but thought it was a pretty damn close comparison either way.

Kerevi is a rookie Kuridrani is in average form and Folau is preffered at 15. ACC played his best rugby there. Is he on the wing in France? Wingers: DHP the in form winger Horne - Cheika's favourite (i hope not though) Mitchell - not sure what his form is like. Plenty of options but I...
