Bledisloe 1 - Wallabies vs All Blacks, ANZ Stadium, Sydney, 8:05pm

+2.... He is a great defensive organiser. I think his leadership in the back-line was something not mentioned often. Which is needed as I think it's one of Foley's weaknesses and To'omua is average too (great tackler though) as Lilo usually does the job at the Brumbies.

That backline players attacking ability is unbelievable. Certainly no issues there.

Bledisloe 1 - Wallabies vs All Blacks, ANZ Stadium, Sydney, 8:05pm

Their centre pairing of Crotty and Fekitoa is a step down from Nonu and Smith. It is also a fairly rookie combination. Barrett is the form 10 of the super comp but doesn't have the same defence and goal-kicking Carter had. Attack is ridiculously good though. There 9 10 12 13 has not played a...

Bledisloe 1 - Wallabies vs All Blacks, ANZ Stadium, Sydney, 8:05pm

When you got players on the field with the adaptability of AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) who can play wing, centre, fullack. DHP: wing, fullback , Folau: Centre/wing/fullback. Cooper can also cover fullback. Two inside backs works just fine.

Nah If Foley goes down you got Gits/Hodge running the backline... sorry but that's game over!

Bledisloe 1 - Wallabies vs All Blacks, ANZ Stadium, Sydney, 8:05pm

Bench will be a 6:3 split. Starters: 9. Phipps 10. Foley 12. Gits Bench 21. Genia 22. Cooper 23. To'omua Straight swap all players with 30mins to go and Cheika gets a good look who's gunna hold their positions for the rest of the season. I should be a coach ;)

Bledisloe 1 - Wallabies vs All Blacks, ANZ Stadium, Sydney, 8:05pm

Can Git's comfortably last 80mins? I thought he was struggling at the RWC. I'd imagine if he started they would earmark a replacement to replace him with 20/30mins to go. Most likely To'omua. Worst case scenario is that he does play 80min, but the clear intention from Cheika is that he should...

    The Rugby Championship 2016

Because McMahon has only had one good game in gold and Hooper has 50. And Super xv form does not always translate to Test rugby.

Bledisloe 1 - Wallabies vs All Blacks, ANZ Stadium, Sydney, 8:05pm

Cheika will not shift Foley at 10, don't we remember when he brought QC (Quade Cooper) on the wing and keeping Foley at 10 instead of re-shuffling the backline. And this was in a game when Foley was really struggling to have any sort of impact.

    The Rugby Championship 2016

Based purely on Super xv form he probably should be. Wouldn't have him ahead anywhere close to Hooper for Test selection though.

Bledisloe 1 - Wallabies vs All Blacks, ANZ Stadium, Sydney, 8:05pm

To be fair Pitzy, when it come to the Wallabies V All Blacks numbers matter. We should have the same standard of jumpers otherwise we put unnecessary pressure on ourselves. 2 jumping locks (Douglas & Simmons), Fardy, and Hooper/Poey is even enough to compete with Rettallick, Whitelock, Read...

    The Rugby Championship 2016

Well then it's pretty easy to see why Hooper didn't make it in front of Poey or McMahon (who always has a superb super xv season). Not sure if you noticed but Hooper has a cult anti-Hooper following and Poey is loved by all.

    The Rugby Championship 2016

Being the incumbent has nothing to do with these selections. Folau is the incumbent fullback but he cannot be picked there because he has played 13 all year. Poey V Hooper would have been a close call 50/50, but it went to Poey probably because his team went further in the competition. I'm...

    The Rugby Championship 2016

Can't see any surprises there. Think most people would pick Poey over Hooper. You have to remember players are only seemed to be chosen for the positions they have played most season. This means Hooper misses out for Poey, Kerevi misses out for Folau.

Isn't Timani exactly that? A 6/8 option who can be a third line-out option!

    Why isn't To'omua available?

    Reds 2017

Didn't seem to work for Richard Graham who inherited almost the same roster of Red's players who were previously a finals contending team... Plus you'd think Blackadder would pick up a few things regarding a winning culture, whereas Stiles is going to have to take huge risks cos he's never...

Bledisloe 1 - Wallabies vs All Blacks, ANZ Stadium, Sydney, 8:05pm

It blows my mind just how bad a team this is. From an experienced professional rugby player at the highest level... what on earth?

    The Rugby Championship 2016

Didn't Cheika come out saying he see's Kerevi as a 13 not a 12? I hope this is not the case as I think Kerevi is the 12 of the future.

Based on what? His quiet RWC final or probably his worst game in the wallabies jersey last Rugby Championship? Neither are great unfortunately.
