    Wallabies v Springboks - Suncorp, Brisbane, 10th September 2016

2 years ago, before his injury Damn he was good though... :(

Speight will certainly sure up the defence on the wing, one of his under-rated attributes. Not sure about his acceleration, speed, and footwork is where it used to be though. Hope his training with 7's has help in that department.

    Wallabies v Springboks - Suncorp, Brisbane, 10th September 2016

He's played 8 before. His "natural" skillset is probably more suited to 8. He's a bit of a Reece Hodge but in the forwards. Hasn't mastered any position but can play anymore from 4,5,6,8. So it's not exactly the same as playing a fullback in the centres - one of the hardest defending positions...

Bledisloe 2 - Wallabies vs All Blacks, Wellington, 27 August 2016

I would have been content if the ref blew a simple penalty for attacking the face. No eye gouge citing. I expected a yellow card though. No player should attack the face like that. Red card and citing could certainly could have happened too, as I believe low grade eye gouge still holds 12...

AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) if fit would probably take a wing spot, given I expect DHP to be dropped next game. I'd say DHP would be back the next game against Argetina and AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) can be on his way.

Loved seeing Meyer in the coaches box! So much passion.

    Wallabies v Springboks - Suncorp, Brisbane, 10th September 2016

Still better then players swapping and changing positions consistently. Which will be a huge benefit for our defensive structure - which based on the last 5 Tests is in poor state. The benefit then is, once a solid option arise they can easily slot into the back-line in their preferred...

    Wallabies v Springboks - Suncorp, Brisbane, 10th September 2016

    9. Genia 10. Cooper - drops back to fullback only for cover like a normal flyhalf. 11. AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) / Mitchell - whoevers fit - specialist winger who can kick 12. To'omua / Hodge - stays in the line 13. Kuridrani / Kerevi- stays in the line 14. Morahan - specialist winger who can kick - last man standing...

    Wallabies v Springboks - Suncorp, Brisbane, 10th September 2016

Sometimes that happens at 13 too. Like Kuridrani his last test, or Kerevi his last test. Most players 1-15 should know to pass it to Izzy every chance they get and if Cooper is playing 10 he'll almost always try get the ball to Izzy every chance he gets. Foley not so much. So I don't see...

    Wallabies v Springboks - Suncorp, Brisbane, 10th September 2016

That's not the point though, The point is he can still be very effective on the wing and very involved in the game. The premise for not playing him on the wing seems to be that he can't involve himself in the game as much - which I completely disagree with. The B&I Lions game a prime...

    Wallabies v Springboks - Suncorp, Brisbane, 10th September 2016

All the more reason DHP should get dropped. Poor missed tackles EVERY GAME HE'S PLAYED! All leading to tries. His England Test's we all thought were just a couple rookie errors, we could forgive him and persist. Now it's 4-5 Test's in a row and that is just not good enough.

    Wallabies v Springboks - Suncorp, Brisbane, 10th September 2016

I agree with your DHP reasoning. But why isn't it okay to play Folau on the wing but it's okay to play him at 13? He played his best Test on the wing, he can still inject himself into the line if he plays a roving winger style like Digby did, and he can drop back to defuse high balls easier...

    Wallabies v Springboks - Suncorp, Brisbane, 10th September 2016

So you got Cooper at 10 who wants to drop back to fullback every chance he gets so he can hide in defence and counter-attack when he can. You also got Foley at 12 who wants to drop back to fullback every chance he gets so he can hide in defence And you got Folau at 13 who wants to drop back...

    Wallabies v Springboks - Suncorp, Brisbane, 10th September 2016

DHP needs to be dropped not shifted. Missed how many tackles now that led directly to tries? I think every game he played he leaked a try. I don't care if he is being played out of position most of the misses were simply poor. No way should he be rewarded by getting played at fullback. He...

Bledisloe 2 - Wallabies vs All Blacks, Wellington, 27 August 2016

Why are so many people selecting Hooper in the 3-2-1's? 6/9 tackles only - can't recall any being dominate. Can't recall any line-breaks of decent runs. Average ruck stats? The Hooper-cult just want to give him points, or is it that their just isn't anyone else to give points? I like...

Bledisloe 2 - Wallabies vs All Blacks, Wellington, 27 August 2016

So basically those stats indicate COLEMAN IS NEW FIRST CHOICE LOCK! Finally a lock who works hard and hits hard. Just need to make sure he doesn't let his aggression make him do stupid penalties. I don't mind the niggle but the hit off the ball was idiotic.

Bledisloe 2 - Wallabies vs All Blacks, Wellington, 27 August 2016

I think your right. With the ease the All Blacks spread the ball wide to take advantage of numbers, surely it was a tactics not to get involve in too many rucks and give NZ a man advantage on attack.

Bledisloe 2 - Wallabies vs All Blacks, Wellington, 27 August 2016

Surely DHP has played himself out of contention for wing. Don't think he's played a Test where he hasn't leaked a try from a missed tackle.
